The magnifier and light work well together. Controls work as advertised. Seems sturdy and stays where you put it as long as the curve is not too tight.

Used to hold props and backgrounds for product photography and it works great. The magnets are very strong, almost too strong.

Wicked awesome for holding hard-to-clamp things together while gluing. A lifesaver for the avid 3D print master! I love how the clamps slide in and out and rotate. That means I can buy custom clamps, get a proper shank and make my own clamps to use with the tentacle arms. Wonderfully though out design! It should be mandatory that all product designers speak to this engineer before submitting their product to production ;)

Helping hands holds my glasses very well and should help on small parts. The cables are weak though, are only good for lite items.

Each arm is magnetic and sticks to the base plate well. The twist locks to hold the gator clips are a bit weak if not cranked down to hold the clip. Clips are strong to hold PCBs. Also the difference in height of the arms allows the work to be at an angle for better view to work on.

Great magnifying glass but a very weak magnet I would try something else

I use these items for product photography. I purchased two different, but similar products. This set and the ‘KOTTO Third Hand Soldering Tool PCB Holder Four Magnetic Based with Iron Holder, Flexible Metal Arms Helping Hands Crafts Jewelry Hobby Workshop Helping Station Non-Slip Steel Weighted Base.’ I prefer this set. It has stronger arms, the clips are more easily manipulated for fine adjustments and the base is bigger. As a bonus, the two sets of arms are of different lengths which adds versatility.

This little unit has been the best addition to my workbench since I set it up years ago. Saves so my hours and bad solder joints! Highly recommend!

It’s very solid made the only thing I didn’t like about it was the screws that are supposed to hold the clamps in place. The screws do not go through the clamps. If they did it would be awesome cause they keep on getting loose and the clamps start to turn may even fall off. I do micro photography so I use this to set up my shots. Been looking for something to hold up leaves and other stuff for the background of my photos. Other than that it’s solid! 👍🏻
