The fragrance is a sophisticated rose that is seductive, and smoky, not your grandmothers rose fragrance. The best part of my day is using this gel in the shower. After using the gel, I liked the fragrance so much that I bought the lotion and the cologne. I particularly like it that about 1 tablespoon of the gel washes me all over twice (using a loofah synthetic ball), and leaves my skin soft and fragrant. I've experienced no issues with itching, red skin; no irritation of any kind (a little unusual for my sensitive skin). A little of this product goes a LONG way.
