Replacement Thumbsticks for PS5 Controller, Analog Joysticks Grip Replacement Parts with Repair Kit for PlayStation 5 Dualsense Controller, Black

My dogs have a fetish with chewing on my thumb sticks. I've had to buy these a couple times. They feel great. Not quite OEM but close enough especially for the price. I've since bought a coffee table with the drawer to hide them from my dogs.

The process to replace the thumbsticks was a little time consuming, but this kit did everything promised, and saved me the cost of a new controller!

The ONLY thing that would make this better is if there was an instruction manual or link to a YouTube video. Still giving 5 starts because I was able to find an online video to show me how to do it. All the right tools were included. THANK YOU!

First off make sure you go over and find out how to take apart the controller before anything else.I feel these are better than the original thumb sticks. The raised sides help from hurting your thumbs when you push hard on them. I play a fast-paced shooter and they don't get stuck and fit perfectly into the groves of the controller. After wearing down the originals and moving to these I feel disappointed by the original's manufacture. I was going to buy a new controller but no need anymore these are amazing.

I’d never replaced PS joysticks before. This doesn’t come with instructions. Fine, I’ll google it. Immediately the triangular pick for the first step bent on all corners and was unusable, had to use a box cutter (not recommended but I did what I had to do). Then the prying tool for the back buttons also snapped on both its ends.2 stars for the screwdriver bc it’s probably the best tiny screwdriver I’ve ever gotten for a product.Also you’re going to need tweezers, and a good chunk of patience if your controllers are stubborn like mine were.As for the joysticks themselves, I wish the top rubber was squishier.

Only one of the thumbsticks sat tightly on the connector. The others were slightly loose, which was very noticable when playing FPS games where precision is important.

Thumbsticks are great substitute. The problem being is the flimsy edges on plastic wedge it comes with snapped right off and broke the controller shell clips along with it. Now the ps5 d pad doesn't work. I would recommend just buying stick pads or a new controller rather than risking it with this.
