If you are of average to small build then this product is a five star product, however, if like myself you have well developed calf muscles then this product may not be the one for you. It is marketed as a one size fits all, which sadly is a bit misleading. I struggled to get the two inner straps to fully engage with the loop part of the hook and loop fastenings on the sleeve. The top and bottom ones fitted perfectly in that none of the itchy hoop part of the straps were in contact with the bare skin. Wearing this over a long pair of socks, or a stretchy bandage gets around the problem of the the two middle straps not engaging fully.If you can get this to fit correctly then you will find that this is a first class product. It provides a stable support that allows for full range of movement. The construction allows for a very comfortable fit, and even after wearing this for a full twelve hours of hard work, there was no sign of chafing, or irritation which I have found to be very common among such products. It hugs the skin nicely, and thanks to the elastic nature of the material you won't find it falling down the calf as you wear it.the biggest selling point of this support is the fact that unlike 100% neoprene supports this one actually allows your skin to breath, and when you take it off there is none of that horrible "sweaty sock" odour that you get with other types of support.A brilliant support let down by not being really one size fits all.

I suffer badly from shins splints. These kind of alleviate the problem, but I wouldn't say they make it go away. I'm running less frankly because of the shin splints, but when I do run, I will ALWAYS wear these as I do feel it makes a significant difference, even though I don't run very far (a few miles). One of the supports, the fabric had come away from the Velcro tab, but this doesn't affect its performance. I do occasionally have them attempt to slip down, so you have to get them pretty tight. I would say experiment with the positioning of them on your shins/calves, as the most pressure is under the Velcro, and that feels nicer just on your shin bone.

Great product, I have suffered with shin splints for a while now, to the point where I have not been able to run at all, which has really hindered my training. I bought this because of the good reviews and must say I was a little sceptical, but after doing my first run today, with virtually no pain I am pleased I chose this wrap!It does slip a little on me, so that is why it has a 4 not a 5 star, but other than that it is awesome!

I had extremely bad shin splint because I run a lot on the treadmill. After purchasing this product and wearing it around the house I was able to walk without limping. My first time wearing it to the gym I still got shin splint but I discovered that was because I had not adjusted it properly on my shin. My next gym session I was able to run for 65 minutes without any splints.... Once adjusted properly on your shin this product will work wonders on your shin splint.....

This looks good, it's not very well made as after a few wears the fabric got furry where the valcro met.It also didn't help with my shin splints problem but may be ok for others, or those who need calf support

Received the wrap today and have to says what a great help it is.I done my shin In kicking an elbow in karate and since base been aching like hell. I had this on for less than 5 miners and the aching was gone.it is well made and well worth the the £20.Defiantly recommend if you have troubles with shins and calf

I was extremely skeptical of this (especially having a few relatives who are doctors), but it got quite a few good reviews so I decided to give it a try.Tried it out, no help whatsoever unfortunately.Also from looking at the product and for the price, I assumed there would be two (quite foolishly as it turns out). There was only one which was unhelpful even if it had worked (which it doesn't) as I have shin splints in both legs, not just one.Don't know how this worked for other people, it didn't work for me.
