They function just fine two of the bands have some thin spots on them and the recoil is not as consistent as some other bands I have used for 9 bucks and using for my self and some youth soccer player they do fine

Super thin and they roll everywhere!! They’re impossible to use! So frustrating!!!

No Real Resistance Provided
The bands are completely inconsistent thicknesses, with half of the band being twice the thickness of the other half. Since parts of each band are very thin, that part of the band offers no resistance. So even the "X-Heavy" band doesn't provide enough resistance to use for working out until you begin to stretch it beyond 4 feet, which makes it useless for the majority of exercises resistance loops are typically used for (glute kickbacks, lateral walk, lateral leg raises, lateral lunges, etc).Images show the inconsistent thickness. In the image where the band is backlit, you can see how half of the band lets though much more light than the other half due to the difference in thickness.
