How long is the cable, thanks

The cable which is wired on the right hand side of the fireis 5 foot long or 153cms to the plug. On the lower setting, this fire has kept me warm and happy in the sitting room rightthrough the winter when everybody else has been complainingabout their cold homes.

Someone said the cable comes out of the side, where? Is this out of the back box?

It does come out of the side. We had our fitted into the old fireplace recess then drilled a hole through the chimney breast to feed the wire through to an appropriate socket.
