I usually give it a while to make sure when I buy something I leave a thorough review. Well, when I went to finally upgrade the bulbs for my ball python enclosure tell me why when I went to screw it in the damn thing broke. I have a super cheap off brand one that literally hasn’t broke. But the little cap came off and on top of that the thing doesn’t even work on one side. So unfortunately I can only use but half of it. UPDATE: Seller reached out as I simply explained the issue. I genuinely didn’t want to seem like I automatically wanted a replacement, but since only one side works; I kinda need one. Seller will be sending me a replacement which I am more than grateful. Regardless of the fact I received one that may have just been defective, the fact the customer service was on point for letting me explain my issue and resolving it. Currently waiting for a reply to received the ok item will be shipped. UPDATE 2: Received new lamp. It works perfectly and the light fixtures are in right. The first one may have just been defective but pretty confident it will last a while.

I have two of these dual domes from ReptiKing, and let me just say, they are 1000x better than Repti Zoo. I have had so many lamp fixtures from ReptiZoo that I’ve had to return due to one of the sockets not working or some other electrical issue with them, but these two ReptiKing ones work PERFECTLY!! I would highly recommend them. They also don’t rust easily, they hold heat lamps and ceramic heat emitters great too! These dual domes are worth every penny.

Great for both a heat bulb and a uv so both work together

I’ve had this for months now works very very well just wish the switches had labels, once my night bulbs stop working its hard to figure out if its because I accidentally didn’t turn it on when i thought I did or if its the bulb, or at night especially its hard to see whether its on or off not a big deal though I would rebuy.

One of the sockets blew out. Now only one side works. I'm lucky I had a back up single socket lamp. Now I need to look for another double heating lamp. Only had this one (1 month). Very unhappy. UPDATE 4/16/25 Was contacted by the company 3 days ago. They apologized and wanted to make things right by sending a free replacement. Was going to update rating to 4 stars once I received the new lamp. However to my surprise the package I received had a damaged dented box inside with a severely warped and damaged lamp. I'm attaching photos. I emailed the company back with photos also. Will update again. UPDATE 4/20/25 The company reached out again. They sent another replacement right away. It arrived in good condition and is working well. I'm bumping up my rating from 1 star to 4, based on good customer service. Will update if necessary in the future.

Durable dome better than the store brought dome. I have had this for a few years now.

This light only lasted less than 6 months. I purchased in May of ‘25 and it’s apparently been not working for weeks now and it’s only Match of ‘26. I thought it was just a bulb issue and put new ones in and nope, nothing. Very disappointing since now I have to order another one. I will be sticking to the Reptizoo one since the one for my snake has been working for a few years now. I don’t even really know why I purchased this particular brand in the first place.

Both lamp sides failed after 6 months. Nothing looks burnt, bulbs are good, or they were until me trying to get them to work in this unit by tapping the housing, moving cables, and putting the bulbs only partially inside the unit (where they would flicker and look like they were trying to work but with no brightness). Using correct bulbs, and only ever used one side from day one. When that side failed, I went to the 2nd socket, which worked for a couple of weeks then failed the same as the first. Got it to come on, my snake was happy for that day. Until the timer turned the light off. The next day when the timer kicked in, the light stayed off. No amount of jiggling wires, tapping the housing, screwing and unscrewing the bulbs, even with the AC plugged directly into an outlet bypassing my timers made this work again. No burning smell, no frayed wires, and no scorched elements, unit looks as good as the day I bought it. Just wish I hadn't now...
