Q: What is the width and depth to this pan.

I am finding that the dimensions listed by All Clad don't match the products. I called them about a pan and they told me the diameter and height of the surface of the D3 Pan was 11.8 x 5", and on their website it listed it as 1.25 x 5" under the more information tab. I don't see how one can purchase this product without seeing it and measuring. I also spoke to an online vendor, they were pretty unclear as well unless they went and measured. So saying that it is in the description, may not be true, or rather the measurements given either may be inaccurate or be measuring something different that what we think they are.

Q: Has anyone else run into a pan that seems slightly domed or raised right in the center? Oil slides to the sides evenly, but still leaves the center.

Yes, the one I threw away when the AllClad arrived.Got away with it on a gas stove because the burner flame was not centered but more around the outside where the oil is. Now (unhappily) using a glass top electric it demands flat bottom, like the A-C.
