She takes them in her back pack every day. She is 9 years old. They do not smell like the items they are. They have a bit of a chemical smell. They make her happy and she uses them as a stress ball type of item. So if they help her and make her happy then I am all for it. I just hope they do not have some harmful chemical in them but there were no papers that came with it for me to see what it was made out of. They were bigger than I anticipated. The ones in the store were smaller, these were an adult handful.
