Chinese Calligraphy Sumi Set for Chinese Calligraphy Lovers Brush Writing/Painting

Great size, beautiful design, complete with everything that I need to practice my japanese kanji, just loved it. Is really perfect for students of asian languages, begginers or advanced works for everyone, this will be a perfect gift for anyone to begin their calligraphy practice.

My son needed brushes for a Chinese writing class and the teacher said anyone I found would work. It was a mess. He broke on brush pulling it out of the very poorly made box- not because he was rough but because the plastic is so thin it snapped easily. The ink is thin and watery and doesn't make good marks. The brushes themselves are large and difficult to use- far to use for writing letters unless he makes 3 inch letters. The synthetic hair doesn't hold much ink. I ended up ordering more expensive but much better quality brushes and resin based ink from an Etsy seller. I knew this was a terrible product when I opened the decorative storage box and it was very poorly constructed.
