My cats have not been getting water from this bowl
I have 2 cats who are big fans of water Fountains for their water consumption. And on first glance at this listing and reading it over carefully to ensure ease of use and cleaning, I thought this would be a dream fountain that would last for a while and be a great addition to my house. I even thought of purchasing a 2nd one after setup. Well my cats are unable to trip the sensor to receive water and have licked the bowl dry. And I've tried putting it in 24/7 constant water cycling. Well guess what doesn't work? So I'm very concerned about other pet parents who may also have this issue. I have attempted my troubleshooting: water levels, cleanliness, pump placement, battery level and constant charging, and the only thing I can find is that there is an issue with the fancy base. I don't know if other pet parents are having this problem, but for me this was a big flop. It's a cool fountain, but it is clearly too fancy for its own good that it is not supplying my pets with water. Also I have experienced the "leaks" as some call it. I believe it is a heavy amount of condensation forming due to temperature differences in the water and outside of bowl. And unfortunately nothing can be done to fix this but find an ideal temperature that doesn't allow condensation to form. I would seriously treat this fountain as a liability while under the 30day warranty especially if your pet is not getting water!

Motion Sensors are Inconsistent and Unsafe
This water fountain uses motion sensors to dispense water from the fountain portion, but that feature was highly inconsistent when I used it. I could occasionally get it to work, but it took waving my hand in very specific parts for often greater than 10 seconds. My cats could not once get the motion sensor to work. I tried to adjust the positioning of the fountain and watched videos from creators, so I know it was properly assembled, but it simply doesn't work well. For something as important as a pet water supply, inconsistent is unsafe. I also found the water flow to be weaker than other fountains. The noise level was low due to the motion sensor technology.

Overpriced and Underperforming. AVOID
This is by far the most expensive and least reliable water fountain I have ever dealt with. I've had to replace other water fountains after a year or so due to the motor wearing down, or some other issue regarding noise, but I ordered this 4 months ago and already I have to constantly take this off it's base just to be able to sleep since it makes a constant "ticking" noise and recently started dripping too. I have deep-cleaned all the parts, and even ordered a new pump, but it still makes this noise and cost me 2-3 times any other water fountain cost. Avoid at all costs. I also bought an auto feeder from this company and that is horrible as well, requiring an app to do anything and if it becomes disconnected, just stops dispensing food. Water capacity is fine, my cat doesn't mind this, but as an owner, this is a horrible fountain. Other ones had the design with a transparent front to see the water level, this is entirely closed off until it just stops working or makes even louder dripping noises. Buy any other fountain and you will be happier. Video attached is the noise Im talking about, fountain looks horrible as well since I've tried scrubbing everything clean, letting in sit in vinegar, and it still makes this noise regardless of the new pump.

It doesn’t work now.
POOR QUALITY! Reaction has been very slow that my cat doesn’t have that patience to wait for the water coming out for more than 30 seconds now. And water comes out even when the cat is not around. The sensor delays and messes up around. It was good in the beginning and now it’s been degrading. The battery can’t sustain 2-week long. And the filter is expensive. Not recommended.

It’s leaking after 3 months
The review is about the black version of the "Cat Water Fountain, Wireless Pet Fountain Battery Operated,2.5L/84oz Dockstream Automatic Dog Water Dispenser for Drinking with Quiet Pump Inside Stainless Steel Tray Easy Clean BPA-Free” We’ve had this fountain running for about 3 months now. We’ve been using it plugged in, not on battery. It was working fine and we liked it a lot. But, it started leaking from somewhere and it’s terrible! The water floods the bas and also the ground all around the fountain. Luckily, I have it placed on a mat so the water didn’t run off onto our wood floors. This fountain cost $55 when we bought it in Nov 2023. That’s an expensive fountain to have work for only 3 months! I see there are other reviews that mention leaking. There is clearly a problem and the company ought to send us a working fountain. I can’t find a way to contact the company. The Product Support link on Amazon says the item is not eligible. I Googled for “Petlibro” and found their website. I downloaded the user manual for the fountain from their site and see that there is a 12 month warranty. I’m going to reach out to them at their support email (support at petlibro dot com) and see if they will replace this faulty fountain. I’ll update this review after I see what they do about my fountain. cheers, c-

Tray goes dry! Updated, unsafe
Update: The "low water level" light never came on (and I check for it constantly). The fountain level got too low, leaving my cat with no water. Luckily, it was on a morning that I was home and noticed within an hour. Once I refilled the reservoir, the fountain didn't function and bring water up to the tray. So basically, it's useless. I already got rid of the packaging, or I'd return it. This is completely unsafe as a reliable water source for pets. Original review: Cons: The tray goes dry when the fountain isn't actually running. Clearly, this is a big concern. The motion sensor takes a second or two to kick in when my cat approaches it, which can be too long, and she walks away. It also doesn't turn on if she's on the side of the fountain. Also, the spout just rests on top, and my playful cat immediately knocked it off. So now I don't use the spout at all, which is too bad, because with my old fountain, my cat really liked, and now she can't drink "falling" water. Pros: It really is a quiet as people say. It's a nice size. When it's plugged it and running constantly, I don't worry about my cat but having water. Overall, I wouldn't have spent the extra money on the wireless option, had I known that the tray was so shallow that the water evaporates within minutes.

Avoid Avoid Avoid
I’ve had this product for four months and it has given me nothing but problems! For context, I have two cats that love CLEAN water. The listing says each filter lasts two weeks but the basin and components starts growing slimy pink mold within 3-4 days. By day 5-7, the slime and muck buildup start blocking the water output so less and less flows through, leaving the water in the top dish cloudy and murky. All of this means the entire fountain and all its components need to be completely cleaned once a week at least. This was fine for the first couple months, until all those timelines started getting shorter and shorter, until now water won’t even flow through the machine on the 3 day. I first I thought it was the motor already going bad. I figured that’s fine, I had bought a backup motor. Nope! No idea what’s causing it. All in all, just avoid this product. It’s not worth the price AT ALL! Especially when you also have to pay separately to keep replacing all the individual components at a premium, as well. Just save yourself the hassle and try out something else that’s cheaper to start.

Pump is underpowered and it quit working after 2 weeks
I should have paid better attention to the reviews- many people said this stopped working after a couple of weeks... and mine did too. I really wanted to like this fountain, but it just wasn't worth the hassle. First off, the water flow is extremely small- my cat prefers to drink running water, not the water collected in the basin. The pump quit working a few times, which really made me mad, as my cat had NO water the entire day. I liked the idea of it being cordless- I kept it plugged in the entire time, but had plans to relocate it once I got everything settled. Additionally, it is supposed to have a "low water" indicator, but that failed to function as well. I never let the water get low enough that the pump wasn't submerged- and it is advertised as having an auto shutoff if that happens anyway. I like the looks of it- stainless steel and black- the material looks nice, but the pump just doesn't put out enough pressure (when it works at all). I am returning this and going back to my old-school tried and true water fountain.

Good filters
Got these on an offer and the perlibro is defo the better fountain where mold and gunk build up is concerned, as you dont really get it. Occasionally a bit of pink mold very minute and easy to clean. Unlike the cheaper fountains

Buen producto
Funciona muy bien para nuestras 3 gatas, se limpia fácilmente y aunque los filtros son caros, uno aguanta muy bien unas dos semanas de uso continuo siempre que no le caiga algún contaminante al agua.

Great cordless water fountain with one flaw
Love that the pump is cordless as cords in water fountains tend to get slimy easily. Very quiet especially when it's on the bubbling mode. One minus point is the filter cover is very hard to remove. Had to pull it open with quite a bit of force and I was afraid of breaking it! Petlibto should look into improving the design of the filter cover
