What happened?
Out of the four sun protection sleeves I bought, this one was the only one I had fussed with pulling it back up my arms.

Picture made it look like it was a 4 pack…it’s not
Good quality otherwise and the thumb holes look reinforced. Would be nice if they said single pair or change the pictures out

Great for Long Bike Rides
Standard biking jerseys are short sleeved, which always results in "bikers tan" lines. Maybe I'm getting more conservative in my older age, but I want to protect my skin from burn when I'm on 5-8 hour bike rides. Bringing sun block with you and remembering to re-apply it every hour while sweating is impractical. I was looking for another solution and came across these guys. They are super-lightweight, and soft. They work great for keeping the sun off my arms for long bike rides and feel cool as the breeze goes by.They go on a little bit snug for me (190lbs, 5'10") but once they're on I honestly don't notice them. Comfortable and cool. They absorb sweat well but also do well in not holding water and evaporate it relatively quickly. There is a small thumb hole in the end of each one, for... well... your thumb. I have a Garmin exercise watch, and at first was bummed when I realized I couldn't see the watch. Then I realized I could put the face of the watch in the hole instead of my thumb!!! Works perfectly. It shows the watch face perfectly, stays in place, and still covers my arm all the way down to my biking glove.I do run also, but I find these are a little too warm for me while I run. I suppose there's not enough air passing across my body (because I run pretty slow, like 11min/miles) to keep them cool. That would be maybe the only reason I'm going to 4 stars instead of 5. Overall I'm very happy with these guys and use them for all my summer rides.

Works, but needs grip on the arm
I have been using these for about two months now. They are easy to put on and the dirt washes away easily. I throw them in the washer with all my gloves and have been hang drying them. They are comfortable to wear along the hands and they have not yet been caught/torn from any thorns. My only complaint is that they roll down my bicep. They don't have a good enough grip on my bicep to stay there. I am a little fluffy in that area so that could play a role, but I don't seem to have issues with my running compression sleeves doing it. So I think these just need a quality rubber-like grip on the top of the sleeves so they don't slide down. But for the price they are good. Way cheaper than the brand I've been getting ads on social media for.

Tight at thumbs on my hands
These are cute sleeves, and I have assume they will be good at protecting my arms from the sun. I intend to wear them mainly when driving, when I don't want to have to wear a full long-sleeved shirt. However, I was disappointed at the lack of stretch at the thumb holes. For the shape of my hands, this resulted in an area that was uncomfortably tight, and became painful after prolonged wear. You can see in the photos where there is a significant red linear the. base of my thumb where the thumb hole edge was pressing into my skin. I do still plan to wear these, as I will be living in New Zealand and will need lots of sun protection - however, I'm going to limit it to 1-2 hours of wear at most. If longer than that, I'll just rely on sunscreen instead. Disclaimer: I am a pretty large person, and someone who is more slender might not have the same fit issues that I did with this item. I do think it's a great idea, and is a quick, easy option to avoid having to use sunscreen just for driving, etc. - but it was just the fit on me that was at issue.

Get for the sun, keep for the cooling
A loved one recommended I get some of these for hot evening walks with my dog, and I have thanked them many times since getting and wearing these sleeves!First thing to note is the color I chose is described as being pink and green, but it's not really a green so much as a lighter turquoise. They fit well, stretching from my palm to just under my armpit. They never pinch or make my upper arm look cinched like a sausage. They definitely keep the sun off. I wouldn't expect them to protect you from mosquitoes, as thin as the fabric is. But, to me, their shining attribute is the ability to wick away sweat and leave your arms feeling cool! As long as you keep moving or have a breeze blowing on you, you will feel the cooling magic. One time I don't recommend these being worn for is while doing dirty work, at least not while using the thumb holes -- these will get dirty fast, and they don't come as clean as I would have liked. Good thing they have a mottled appearance already. So far, I have loved my cooling sleeves, and I very much recommend them!
