Last week I ordered the 170g tub, opened it, and immediately noticed that the treats were an off-brown colour, as opposed to being white, and instead of them feeling fluffy (albeit obviously still very dry) they were VERY hard when touched, almost stone like. He's NEVER rejected these before.......until a few days ago. He wasn't having any of it. I gave it a couple of hours, tried again, same outcome. So I threw them out, and put it down to it simply being a "one-off". I then ordered another tub. It just arrived (15:03 - Tuesday 22nd October 2024) and noticed straight away that the treats were once again that weird off-brown hue and very hard. Guess what happened? Yep.......he rejected them again. Absolute waste of money. That's nearly £40 down the drain, but I only have myself to blame. Instead of being a "once bitten, twice shy" kinda guy, I should have written them off after the first disappointment last Friday. But, alas, you live and you learn. I 100% won't buy these again. They've clearly changed their process in making these, one could assume? Or perhaps they have batches of Thrive Chicken that may have gone off, and I've just been the unlucky recipient?
