Shell Case Key Fob Remote fits Toyota RS3000 BAB237131-022 Black

This product works well! I was happy to discover this product, as my original remote case from 1999 was destroyed! I was able to remove my original circuit board and battery and easily install it into the new empty shell casing. The product came with the top and bottom snapped together, however, unassembled. The screw and the chain for the key ring was stored inside the unit for the time being. The metal sleeve for the battery fell out when I was observing the unit. However, it was easy to put back in and was not because of a defect. The only thing I’d improve is where the screw goes. The threads are molded into the plastic, so, be cautious when consistently replacing the battery so that the plastic threads don’t get stripped. But, for the price, I’m not complaining! Overall, I’m happy this unit exists.

Hard to find a fob shell for our 1996 4-Runner! This was perfect and my husband was so excited we didn’t have to keep wrapping tape and rubber bands around our old one. We ordered another one just in case these go extinct! We have 380K miles on our old girl!

Works like a charm. An inexpensive alternative to buying a new remote. Just took the guts out of my old remote and put it inside the new case. Presto a new remote! Actually I only used the top portion of the case, the part with the buttons and attached this to my old remote.

This is not exactly the same as the original - it doesn't have the Toyota emblem and the screw hole is plastic, not metal like the original, but it works. I was able to easily take out the original keyboard and place it into the new case. It comes with a new screw and chain. I kept the original chain though as it's a bit better than the replacement chain.

Perfect fit to move over the internals of my broken remote. Has worked perfectly and held up better than the similar one I ordered from another site.

Case was fine, internal spring that holds the battery was broken. I did not send it back, just used the bottom portion from the old case and the top from the new case as the top was what was broken on the old one. I made it work - wasnt worth sending back.

This fit the keys of 99 Camry great. It was super easy to install. You just have to pop out the chip from your old key fob, put it in the new casing, and put a battery and you’re good to go. This is a great product and I love that it’s a USA product.

Cracked the case on my Toyota car key fob and was stunned at the price Toyota wanted to supply a new unit and program it. Watched a DIY video on You Tube and ordered this replacement case online through Amazon. Instruction sheet easy to follow and within 5 minutes I had the internal cuircit board popped into this replacement case. Bought a new CR type battery and installed it. Fob now back in service and I am several hundred dollars ahead. As long as the internal cuircuit board is functional replacing the case is the way to go. Doesnt have the Toyota logo but I can live with that.
