A nice alternative to more expensive brands
My kids love building with Legos, but sometimes we can't afford paying for the name brand toys. This set is adorable and I'm excited to build it with our daughter. The pieces snap together easily and hold together well. I tried connecting them with Lego brand blocks and they work perfectly, so when we are finished with the castle, these pieces can be added to the Lego horde we already have. I like the castle design and the little details that come with it, like flowers.

Great Princess Set to Assemble Together
This princess castle is a little challenging to build. My nieces needed help from adults to follow the instructions. The instruction booklet shows step-by-step instructions in color to help as much as possible, but it is easy to get confused, especially if you are not used to building Lego sets. I recommend that you build this castle with your child to avoid frustration. The pieces snapped together well and the castle seems sturdy once it is built. My niece has been able to pick it up and move it around without pieces falling off, which is great. Stickers are provided for extra decoration. Many of the stickers are skinny and difficult to remove from the paper and apply without tearing. Some of the stickers go across multiple blocks so I would recommend placing the stickers on only if you are planning on leaving the castle assembled at all times. Or you could use a knife to cut through the stickers on the blocks before disassembling it.This princess castle set is fun to build and fun to play with afterwards! There are several rooms, a balcony, a tower and more that children can use to place figurines/dolls for imaginative play time after the castle is assembled. The castle is quite small so it is best to use little mini-figures like the little Lego people. This set is a great value and has provided hours of fun! It would make a great gift for any child.

Compatible with Lego
This set is compatible with standard Legos and they do stick together Securely. However, the design is lacking. It is not very sturdy because there are not enough pieces holding the main bottom together. When I added extra Lego pieces that I had on hand that helped a lot.Paying for the name brand gives you a better more secure design, but this was still fun for the price.

Princess Castle Building Blocks
This was a cute and quick build. This set was complete with no missing pieces. The pieces are a little bigger than standard Legos. The quality of the blocks is very good. They were easy to snap together and once together they stay that way. The instructions easy to follow. I prefer an instruction booklet instead of a large single piece because the booklet is easier to follow. Overall this is a quality set. I gave it 5 Stars. I had no problems with this set. If you are looking for a set for a younger girl this is a good one to start with. My niece who is 9 helped with this one and now wants to do more. I would recommend this set to all ages! It is easy enough for the experienced builder and first time builder too!

Cute, not quite the same as Lego but it is compatible
This is a cute, simple and easy set of blocks. The quality is decent and the blocks are compatible with Lego, but I was able to tell that some types of pieces were just... a little different. The instructions were easy to follow and had finished pieces in gray while active pieces were in color. The blocks snapped together and held as expected, though some of the plate type pieces needed a lot more pressing to snug them all the way together. There are stickers included. The designs are pretty, but some are fiddly to apply because they're arch shaped with a skinny connection in the center. Most stickers cover multiple blocks, so you won't be able to take them all the way apart later (in case that matters to you).Overall, it's a cute and perfectly serviceable set, but something seems a bit odd about it. Like it was cobbled together from leftover pieces and is slightly mismatched. Basically, it's "good enough" but not amazing.

Fun 'togetherness' project
My grandgirls were so excited when they saw this box and couldn't wait to get started. We went step by step, looking at the directions, sorting pieces, it gave each of them something to do. At their ages (6-7) I feel it would have been too challenging for them to do alone and we wanted to keep it fun. So far the instructions are fairly easy to follow and the pieces are all there and fitting together well. It's still a work in progress so the next steps will wait for their next visit coming up soon. It's been something fun to do together while visiting about other things along the way. They love the colors, the details and will be quite proud when it's completed. The price is great when you compare with legos!

Not comparable to name brand at all
I gave this two stars because my 2nd and 5th grader were able to assemble it with the included instructions, which means the pieces are decent enough and the instructions well-written enough. The packaging is weird. With legos there is some logic as to which bags contain which pieces, that doesn't seem to be the case with this set. The biggest issue is the cheap quality. I understand they're cheap for building block type toys, but the quality is bottom of the barrel. Some of the pieces don't line up or connect to each other properly which means the castle is easily broken. There are some good lego alternatives, but this set isn't it.
