UPDATE: I downgraded my rating from 5 to 3 because the plastic clips that hold the top and bottom of the flag to the flagpole are faulty. As the flag started slipping on the pole I tightened the bracket, and the plastic screw was easily stripped and could not be secured. It is still an excellent buy if you have your own solid and reliable brackets This 6 ft flagpole is very easy to assemble and is strong and durable. It's four sections (1.5 ft) fit snug and tight. We like the appearance of the pole and our choice of color was black. The pole fits best with a 3' x 5' flag but was a bit short for our 4' x 6' flag. To remedy this, I ordered a second pole on sale and used an additional 1.5 extension for a better fit. Works like a charm, and we have spares if ever needed. I recommend this pole.

These poles are pretty solid. I accidentally left one up all year one time and it still hung in even in the winter. I've bought 2 so far.

This flag pole looks good and it seems sturdy. I like that you can add poles or not to make it the length that works for you. I have a 3 x 5 American flag on it and need all of the poles for it to be high enough. The clips that are supposed to hold the flag are pretty much useless. They are too small to get through the grommets on the flag, plus the clip part is on the outside instead of the inside, making it very awkward to even open. I'm using a split ring to attach the flag and they are working perfectly.

As described. I only used 3 of the 4 poles because I wanted it shorter. The tangle free works great

Does the job, not super heavy duty but didn't need something super heavy duty. Purchased 2 of them and extended them to put the flag up higher.

Easy to assemble and does hold a flag as intended. I got this to replace another flag pole... the clips that hold the flag rotate to avoid tangling etc. This unit, just like my old one always gets tangled - the clips don't rotate as easily or friction-free as they should. So, as good as my old one with the same problem. Lubrication where flag clips in didn't help...

This product has an obvious design flaw. The plastic collars that spin to keep the flag tangle free are secured to the flag pole with a thumb screw that sticks out about half an inch. The design flaw is that as soon as it rotates in the breeze, the carabiner that attaches the flag to the spinning collar gets stuck on the thumb screw, and at that point the flag is no longer spinning free in the breeze, so that it gets exactly as tangled up as it would with a traditional collar. This defect should be stark raving obvious as soon as you get the product and see what it is. It was obvious to to me, but I'm the kind of person who always thinks it's on me bc I did something wrong. So I kept trying to fix it and by the time I realized that this was obviously a defectively designed product, the return window had closed. Don't be like me and try to save $10 by buying one of these products that relies on a spinning collar. Those things don't work. By design. Instead of paying $10-$13 for one of those spinning collars --which will just end up as a wasted sawbuck-- just suck it up and pay $20-$23 for one of the flag poles where the entire pole rotates/spins. It cost me a $10 lesson to understand that the spinning pole (as opposed to spinning collar( is the only real solution to tangles bc of breeze. Just hoping to depreciate that cost by sharing the experience. :)

It’s ok, but a bit cheap..plastic swivel gets caught, causing the flag to wrap around..for me not a huge deal I installed the pole fairly low to ground and can untangle easily..but it’s ok!
