LED Conversion Compatible/Replacement for Maglite Flashlights 2500-3500 Lumen fits 5 or 6D Cell

Have you ever heard the expression "this is just the tip of the iceberg"? Well, this maglite upgrade from lumencraft is quite possibly one of the greatest references that I can think of pertaining to that guys and gals! The proportion of difference between the stock maglite output and this upgrade is insane. It's like one of those laughing moments of how was the previous ever even good enough!?!? I must also mention just because you might be new to lumencraft, that does not mean lumencraft is new to the light output technology, machining process, or whatever you like to call this area of vast knowledge of flashlights! Lumencraft has clearly, FOR YEARS, put in all the things necessary, time,effort, money, research and passion to cover the ground necessary to reach these modern advancements readily available at the consumers' fingertips. One of the coolest things about this guy's work is when you see any one of his products in hand, you just know you've got something awesome in your hands that really packs a punch. I work pretty hard for my money and when I'm scrolling thru Amazon pages for the best quality of what I'm after my goal is something that I can rely on and this is the second lumencraft item that I've just quite literally gotten a big smile from. To top it all off, Jesus Christ is the Lord of this guy's life , as He is mine, it just doesn't get any better than amazing quality of flashlight technology AND walking across paths with fellow believers who are in pursuit of God's goodness. Very bright and very easy to install. The video shows you everything you need to know. The only negative I have is that I am not able to go from wide to zoom (Small diameter concentrated). Other than that, it’s nice to have a very old 5-cell battery Mag Lite that’s very bright.

I would never go anywhere else for a flashlight. I use my new one when performing nighttime inspections on my 18-wheeler. It is also powerful enough to use as a spotlight for a clear nighttime view of any of the open acreage and pasture areas of our land at home. I am once again very happy with this product.

You need a decoder ring to operate, I was hoping to upgrade my maglight but you must first program the LED based on 12 settings. I just want my light to turn off/on at 100% (setting 9) if you replace the batteries you must program it again. Not a convenient feature.Other than that, yes, it's a huge improvement from the original bulbs.

I was hoping to use this conversion to bring back my old Maglight to life. Not only did it not work at all (my Maglight apparently does not have enough D Cell batteries to make this light up at all) but for the price point it is crazy overpriced. I expected it to be less bright without 6 D cells, but not work at all? I have several LED spots with more lumens than this, costing under $50. Most of the LED conversions on Amazon are under $20. This is just not economical, plus according to other reviews there is no focus, and looking the long list of programming functions (there are 24) it seems excessively complex too. It does seem to be machined from a solid block of aluminum, but for the price you can buy a couple decent LED spots.
