Great DSP for the money.
Great unit. Has all the settings you'd expect. The menus are self explanatory. No issues with bluetooth connection on my iOS device. Outputs a clean signal. If you know what a DSP does and why you need one then this is a great choice. If you don't then this may not benefit you much.

More improvement than I expected, it’s good.
Took a minute to set up, but really isn’t very difficult to install or use. Once it’s set up you really don’t need to do much anything to it again unless you change some component in your stereo system. It improved the overall sound of the system much more than I expected it to considering how affordable it is. My favorite part is that it has 8 outputs which was the overall deciding factor to my making the purchase. I have six speakers and a subwoofer so that was a requirement for me. Most people will probably only need 6 outputs which means they have room to add on to it in the future. If you are new to upgrading your car stereo just trust me that you will eventually add on to what you have, it’s an expensive hobby and I don’t know anyone who doesn’t continue to improve the system they have once they start doing it. This thing is small and easily mounted under a seat or really anywhere. The app is not ideal but does everything easily if you have any tech awareness at all, I could probably hand it to anyone who knows hour an eq or crossover works even a little and they would figure it out without too much frustration. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars: It will add some noise to your system unless you keep the gain levels really low, which means you aren’t using a dsp to its full potential. Not a lot of noise but some, it isn’t unbearable at all and I don’t even notice it until I mute my stereo or have it really low. I haven’t tried to add a noise filter to any channel as it’s just not bad enough for me to bother. At the volumes I listen to music I just can’t hear it so I think I’ll just leave things as they are. The improvement to sound outweighs the little bit of noise added. It also has no adjustments you can make without using the app, there are no onboard controls, only clipping lights which are good to have. I also really, really wish it had one more set of inputs or at the least a single additional for my subwoofer so that I could still use the subwoofer controls on my deck. I choose to use the front and rear outs on my stereo instead of just one or the other and the subwoofer out. I tried it both ways and I wanted to retain the full control of balance and faders as my rear speakers are mid bass, not full range and I’d rather feed them the signal and have control without needing the app due to the range of different music I like. Overall, I wouldn’t want to go back to not having it and feel that it was well worth its price for the added control of the overall system sound. If you are new to car stereo you probably don’t need it and you will like your aftermarket system as it is, but I’ve always installed a system in every car for the last. 30 years, which means I’ve designed and built at least 10 different ones from low to high end and a dsp is something I like to have as I have worked in live sound and just got used to having control of more things. I am comfortable recommending this, especially for the price.

Wow!!!! Awesome DSP for the price!
All I can say is for the price you will not find a better DSP unit!!! The unit is super small and easy to hook up. Took a couple tries to get the BT to connect but figured it out quickly. The app interface is really good and straight forward. There is a couple things I would change like being able to link Channels better and easier control of crossover points but once you figure it out it’s not that bad. After a little tweaking it really made my system come alive. The time alignment can make it sound like the vocals are center on the hood. It’s usually tough to get a Jeep to sound good with such a short flat windshield but this unit helps a LOT!!!! The bass is tight and accurate now. With the limiter you can attack the desired frequency before distortion and it protects speakers and your ears. I was going to get the DS18 unit but this one looked like the same thing. I even downloaded both apps and they are almost identical except the colors. You can tell they are the same unit however this unit does not claim to be water resistant. Biggest bonus is this unit is a lot cheaper. As far as sound quality it is excellent. No whine or background noise, no hiss, no pops and no distortion. Highly recommend this DSP unit.

For the price this is incredible! Exactly what I needed for my budget SQ system!
This is not the greatest DSP you will find, if you have a bigger budget find something else! But if you want a budget DSP with a few advanced functions this DSP is incredible. My favorite thing about this DSP is the 8 ADDRESSABLE EQ bands you get for each of the 6 output channels. Meaning you can program in 8 specific frequencies for the 8 band channel EQ. I’ve seen this on newer, really pricy processors so the fact that this cheap little processor offers this is amazing! My highs are Old School HLCDs and they need ALOT of help from an EQ. This let me pick specific frequencies to target so I could EQ my horns properly. You also have adjustable Q factor for each band! Another thing I only see on high end modern DSPs. LOTS of crossover filters! Butterworth, Linkwitz-Riley, & Bessel! This was super fun to play with and gave me a lot of tuning control for my HLCDs and 10” midrange doors! If you’re looking for a car audio upgrade and don’t have a lot of $$ to blow and don’t already have a DSP get this! Great starter DSP!

decent low cost DSP with bluetooth controls
Bluetooth works well and has a decent effect on the sound in my car. It's a decent balance of cost and value, overall would buy again. Been using this for about 6 months now without issue.
