Newby Teas English Breakfast Teabags (Pack of 1, Total 50)

I've always loved a cup of English Breakfast Tea in the morning, but it's only in the last few months that I was introduced to Newby Teas and what a discovery! I absolutely love the taste of Newby's English Breakfast Tea, its incredibly smooth and low in tannin yet malty and rich at the same time. I love the fact that each tea bag comes in very high quality individual pouch that adds a 5 star Hotel quality feel, and inside the pouch is a tea bag with a string attached and a Newby label. The whole experience is high class and fabulous and when you consider it doesn't cost much more than other brands - its definitely worth the money! I'm a complete convert and I'm now converting all my friends and family!

This is the tea available in the rooms at the 5 star hotel, The May Fair, in London. Really tasty and worth every penny.

My local supermarket has stopped stocking this tea. It’s an expensive tea, so I only use occasionally, wish I could drink it every day! Lovely flavour & a nice aroma.

Was introduced to this tea whilst at a spa day and afternoon tea treat. Rowhill Grange. Once I tried it I was hooked. I’ve bought 2 boxes now online at Amazon and they’re individually wrapped. Expensive but worth it. Lovely cuppa.

Makes a good full flavoured brew and how nice to have tea bags with strings attached.

This is my most favourite tea.

I’m a long time consumer of these tea bags. While being expensive and a premium product, I’ve always loved the flavour and order ten regularly for several years. I’m very disappointed and not happy with how the recent boxes have been shipped to me - more than once the boxes come in an outer box that damages the tea bag box. While some may argue that this doesn’t affect the individually packed tea bags, when I’m paying lots of money for this item I expect it to be PROPERLY packed and sent to me. Newby’s used to send their tea bags in very good cardboard packing with thermocol around them. I’ve always loved seeing a pristine tea bag box that looked good in my kitchen. But this year I have had this happen to me many times. I’ve tolerated it but now I’ve lost patience - and I’m writing this review to tell Newby’s - even loyal customers like me will expect a refund on a premium product if you can’t be bothered to make sure it doesn’t get shipped with PROPER packing that doesn’t damage the product box. I will update my review only once I see the next delivery is done properly. Otherwise I will have to find a new way to purchase these - I’m not willing to spend so much and get something that looks like it was thrown around and damaged.
