From the manufacturer HOW TO APPLY? All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease. Apply adhesive thinly to both surfaces. Do not over apply as this will slow down cure. When fitting dowels, the adhesive should be applied to the holes. Sika is your best ally!

Review: Very good ahesive for the money - After using Everbuild adhesives before I thought I'd give this a go after reading about it on the woodworking forums, it came well packaged and the product carton itself is very tough so these things dont often leak. I used the adhesive to build a outside hexagon wall unit for my mothers garden and knowing it would be exposed to damp conditions the D4 was perfect for the job due to its characteristics. The product applies very easily with no odor, you do not need much so the 1Litre carton will go a long way. Clean up is with water if you get spils anywhere you should not. Overall a very good product and will be purchasing again form desertcart as the price was much lower than anywhere else.

**Q: Is this glue recommended for installing tongue and groove engineered wood flooring?**
A: Not for sticking the engineered wood to the underfloor no; but it is fine for joining the tongue & grooved lengths together. This is glue is rated as D4 which is a higher rating than the D3 recommended by flooring companies. The only real difference is the glues ability to resist water. D4 is more water resistant than D3, but as such a floor will never be submerged in water (hopefully), you could probably save a little cost by getting a D3 product instead, as that is plenty good enough for the job. This is perhaps a little overkill, after all, if you exposed the floor to that much water, the glue would be the last of your concerns.

**Q: will it glue to acrylic paint**
A: Yes.

**Q: Will this glue remain waterproof and clear if used to repair a garden bench?**
A: The product is D4 rated so fully waterproof, depending on the application, the product should remain clear once cured.

**Q: does it still polisteirene to mdf**
A: Hi, this will adhere to both Polystyrene and MDF.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great adhesive but limited shelf life.

This adhesive is excellent. It's very strong, is easy to clean up and sets in a reasonable time. However is has one major drawback for me, and that is it's short shelf life. I've bought multiple bottles and never go to the end of any of them because the resin has set up in the bottle. You have to be very careful that the stock that you are sent is recently manufactured or you could find it going off before you get to use it. I've found that more than six month and you'd probably start thinking about buying a new bottle.
