Fantastic power supply, but mine had a terrible flaw.
This is an excellent power supply, but I want to explain the problem I had with it in case you run into this. I bought this to run my PC along with a high-end video card, the AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX, which draws quite a bit of current off of 6 + 1 connectors. This power supply does have the three connectors, and they are dual ended, meaning one could do the purpose of two. Because of the high power drop, I used the three connectors separately, but for the last year I would have random issues with my video card going offline because it wasn't getting enough power. This was not a problem with the power supply in the long run, but the supply three connectors. I purchased three new ones for $10 each, and now it works beautifully. I don't know if the connectors were bad, but we're not making proper connection, but I would have to wiggle them occasionally on the video card to get it to work again. That being said, the power supply is awesome, and you may never run into this problem, but if you do there's the solution. I would definitely recommend this.

Very good worth every penny.
Fantastic power supply. The first one I ordered was DOA but they very quickly got me a new one (next day). Very pleased with the service. All the cords you expect are here. I’m not a fan of how some of the cords are set up but you can make do. I’m upgrading from my 850W PSU that lasted me 2 years before upgrading to the RTX 5090 because of the “required” 1000W PSU and this one works fantastic for it, no shut downs at high loads. Installing it is also very easy. If you’ve ever installed a PSU you’ll be very familiar with installing this PSU. The 10 year warranty with this product makes it very much worth the price. The wires are very durable, as well the clips and pigtails. Being able to manage what cables are used also makes it great for cable management.

Great power supply
Great PSU. Comes with a dedicated 600w rated cable for powering your graphics card. Very quiet on the normal mode and has a dedicated queit mode that isn't needed yet for the stress I have put on it. Great value.

Avoid at ALL Costs!!
I usually don’t leave reviews, but I’m seriously upset and feel like I need to warn others. I bought this Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 1200W thinking I was getting a top-tier PSU — fully ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 ready, supposedly built to handle RTX 40 series GPUs. I followed everything to the letter. Used the included 12VHPWR cable, routed it carefully with zero bends or stress. I’ve built dozens of PCs — I know what I’m doing. After less than a week of use, my system powered off randomly. I opened the case and was shocked to find the 12VHPWR connector partially melted, with visible scorching on both the PSU port and the cable. It was literally starting to burn inside my case. This is not just a defective unit — this is a fire hazard. Thermaltake has no business marketing this PSU as compatible with high-end GPUs when this kind of thing is still happening in 2025. They know these issues exist with poor pin contact or internal defects and are still shipping these units out. And Amazon, you shouldn’t be selling something this dangerous without better QA. If I hadn’t caught it early, this could have fried my entire PC, including my $2,000 RTX 4090 and possibly caused a fire. Absolutely unacceptable. If you care about your hardware or your home, stay far away from this PSU. I wouldn’t use this again even if it was free. I’ll be switching to a brand that actually takes safety and quality seriously. This is the worst purchase i've ever used.

Excellent with my Asus ProArt Z790-Creator - i7 12th Gen
So far, so good. Everything is working ok. It quite and no problems providing the power for my y Asus ProArt Z790-Creator - i7 12th Gen. I only have one small complaint about this product. obviously, it's made to be installed on the bottom of the computer case. unfortunately, my ATX computer case is design for the power supply to be installed at the top. This power supply wording, fan switch, and power switch are upside down. It looks a little awkward. Other than that, all good.

Nice budget PSU!
Got this PSU to rebuild a PC out of recently replaced parts. Allowed me to build a whole new computer that ran stable under an OCCT Stress and stability test for hours with no issues. That PC is now sold and belongs to a very happy buyer!

Best value for a 1200 watt PSU
This was one of the lowest cost but solid 1200 Watt PSU's available. Thermaltake has good reviews overall and this one seemed solidly built. The modular cables were flat and easy to use. I have a new 7900 XTX GPU and it had the 3 necessary PCIe cables to power it. Its seemed virtually silent even at full load. The fan noise was only heard when I turned off my speakers. I've only had it for a day, but Thermaltake does have a reputation of reliable components and a 10 year warranty to back it.

Couldn't be happier with it.
I bought this for a new pc build about 3 years ago. It runs silently and for the wattage it's an amazing value. In the past month my pc began to shut off randomly regardless of the activity and having a UPS battery backup. I don't move my PC case around much but inspecting the power cable it felt loose. Unplugging the cable, plugging it back in, and toggling the power switch was a temporary fix. Just bought and installed a new one. Will update if it continues.
