I had to replace my original remote after the right cursor key broke and fell out after one and half years. Work great out of box. Just add batteries and you on your way. Works just like original remote. My only concern is the build quality and longevity. The plastic seems to be of a cheaper quality than original remote. The buttons feel a bit mushy and cheap compared to original remote. For under $8, if this lasts a year and I have to replace it, I will just buy another. So the replacement remote worked fine for about a year and then I had started having problems with lower volume button and down channel buttons working intermittently. I am now onto my third remote. The cursor keys just wear out over time. Not that expensive replace.

I bought the LG brand the last time my husky decided to eat my remote I spend $39.99 on the more expensive one and on a whim I bought this one after buying it I thought maybe I should have bought the other one I received this one today I place batteries in this remote pointed it at my LG television and pushed the power button and my television came on. Wow for under $8.00 amazing. Remote and it look exactly like the LG remote. but a lot cheaper..

Good price for a good remote turned my tv on right away without having to program it.

thank god amazon has these remotes for a great price, it seems that my dog thinks that they are bones, I hide them and she finds them and chews the crap out of it, Vet tells me its separation anxiety, so I will be putting my new order of 3 remotes up in my kitchen cabinet.

Worked liked the original right out of the package (after adding a battery). No programming. Simply works.

I bought this to use as a spare remote for my LG flat screen television. Arrived as promised, seems to work great.

It works, as far as being programmed for my TV. The remote quality is cheap plastic. The buttons stick a lot and you have to push them a few times sometimes to get them to work. I plan on ordering a higher quality one and will keep this as a back up, so I would recommend purchasing a better made remote and not this one.
