20v vs 40v: What are the differences?
Tried out both the 20v and 40v. What is different between them:- Weight: 20v is amazingly light (especially when using a 2Ah battery). With 2x 4Ah nitro batteries the 40v is significantly heavier. The blowers themselves are same weight, it's all in the batteries. I was a bit disappointed how much heavier the 40v was. My arm got tired faster on the same task/duration (on different days) with the 40v. Not a deal breaker for me though.- Air Speed: Both have a thumb wheel to control air flow but they work differently. 20v is gradual from off to max uninterrupted (note, the amazon listing now says the 20v has 2 levels, maybe the 20v I got a month ago was last year's model?). 40v has 4 distinct levels: 0ff-1-2-3. Levels 1,2, 3 are marked on the wheel and you can't go between them. So far, this difference is manageable although I prefer the 20v gradual approach. What is way different is the 40v has a Turbo push button that pushes more air (think level 4). The button doesn't lock down, it has to be continuously held down. The extra air flow strength is partly why I wanted the 40v over the 20v for fall leaves... but the prospect of having to hold the Turbo button down when moving large piles of leaves is has me concerned. Button should lock down, or be moved to being level 4 on the thumb wheel. I was not able to test that the 40v on max (without Turbo) has stronger airflow than the 20v on max. Anecdotally the 40v on max seemed a bit stronger than the 20v.- Batteries: I bought 20v leafjet with no battery. I tested it with 2Ah and 4Ah and loved how light the 20v unit was with the 2Ah. It seems that when buying leafjet with one or two batteries they ship with the same 4Ah. So likely no difference here but I can't tell.A note on battery life: I am able to get all blowing done post mowing/trimming with the 20v using 2Ah (used 1 of 3 bars) and 40v using 4Ah Pro (used 1 of 5 bars). The real test on battery life will be in the fall when blowing leaves all day long... hence why I got the 40v. In addition to the extra air flow power, I need long battery life and also wanted 2 more 4Ah batteries. Cheapest way to get leafjet and 2 extra 4Ah was to buy the 40v with 4Ah batteries. I've not seen an option online to buy 40v leafjet without batteries.Note on the battery type: I already had a Worx mower (WG743) and the 4Ah Pro batteries that came with the 40v leafJet Nitro are different than the "regular" 4Ah mower batteries. See picture. The Leafjet Nitro 4Ah Pro battery has a 5-bar power test whereas the "regular" 4Ah from the mower has a 3-bar power test. Interestingly, the WG743 mower has a 5-bar power test on it, just like the LeafJet 40v. Since both the Pro and "regular" batteries are 20v 4Ah, I expect they will perform about the same. Both sets of batteries came with the exact same charger. All batteries work in all my Worx tools.Overall, I am keeping the 40v despite the extra weight and annoying must continuously press down Turbo button for max air flow. The extra battery life and getting 2 more 4Ah batteries are worth it to me. I now have 2x 2Ah batteries for the one battery 20v tools (air pump, weeder, drill/driver, shear, etc.) and 4x 4Ah batteries for the 40v tools (mower, leafjet). This means I can have a replacement set of batteries on the charger while using any tool. This should alleviate running out of power. Worx products are new to me in 2021 and so far they have been awesome.

Was skeptical, but wow
I was skeptical about this blower, like would it pleasure me like the two stroke gas powered, exhaust smelling, one it replaces?? Mix the gas and oil, hit the choke, pull that cord and bring a monster to life kind of satisfaction?? No this has none of that, but it will blow harder than that two stroke ever would and not upset your whiney neighbors. No instead of wasting fuel i can charge some batteries using that coal fired power plant, and blow the leaves into their yard. Win win, go for it youll love it.

The Mover
Wasn’t sure what to expect but was definitely pleasantly surprised. I have a major leaf problem and this blower really moves them wet or dry. I like the fact that I can extend it instead of bending over to get more pressure on the leaves. The turbo mode is a plus but I wish you could lock it in that mode. Definitely would recommend.

Lightweight & Powerful!
Works as great as my EGO high-powered blower does. I got this one because it fits with my current battery platform. It is light weight and almost as powerful as my EGO, which is much heavier and has a more cumbersome battery. Plus, the run time is even longer than ego with 5 amp battery!

Great power!!!
Wish there is a nozzle to prevent the car paint from scratching as i use this to dry the car after wash…

They Worx..... and really good
For starters, I got to know the Worx brand, thanks to Costco. At one point, a Black and Decker cordless drill had malfunctioned, so I bought one that they sell on sale at Costco. It seemed to me to be of quite good construction and I loved that the battery lasted much longer than that of the other drill. That was around 2017. And yes, I still have the batteries and they work perfectly.Due to the pandemic, I have to stay home longer, and I decide to take care of the garden myself. I don't live in the USA, but in Costa Rica, a country with a tropical climate, so the garden tools I had to buy were for weekly use (here everything grows very quickly in the rainy season, which is 6-7 months a year) , and that the purchase would not leave my wallet at zero, since all this had to be brought via courier from the USA, so the final price for me is much higher than the purchase on Amazon, since I have to include freight and formalities. This led me to Worx. I remembered the different tools that I bought after that brand, and that they all operate with the same batteries, and when I noticed that they had a 20V and 40V system, but using the same batteries that I already have, it seemed to me that it was a good alternative.About this blower. Basically it is very powerful, very agile. It allows to move multiple dry or wet leaves of a concrete road that measures about 100m (300ft), and it does it with a single charge. Or when I use to blow under the multiple trees, it does it without any problem. Now, I achieve that at speed 1 and 2, with some bursts in turbo, since the 4A batteries it comes with run out in about 10 minutes if I use them in turbo all the time (maybe even less). The advantage is that the blower has enough power and air flow to achieve the task that I occupy. Would you trade something? Without a doubt, yes, and it seems to me that they should send those 40V tools with 5A batteries, not with 4A, because the total charge lasts about 20 minutes, which is relatively little. At least on my property, which has about 1 hectare of land (approx 1/2 acre), this blower would not allow me to use it on the entire property without having about 5 extra battery sets on hand, since there is a lot of vegetation. which releases leaves, flowers and the weather makes it all humid most of the time. One of the uses that I give it the most, ironically, is to dust the furniture and the floor of the terrace, and even the cars (so they stay clean longer), since everything is indoors but open to the wind, so the Dust settles a lot when there is wind. Likewise, my dog sheds hair, which this blower sends it away from traffic areas without any effort.

Powerful and light
This is my second Worx leaf blower. The first still works, we can get more done having two. We actually race to this one because it does a better job in less time. Wait, does that mean I’m doing more work?! Seriously, you won’t regret buying this.

Perfect for my needs
I only wanted a small one for my front porch area. So far I love it! Battery has not run out for me in weeks. Now granted I don't use it everyday but I do use it enough.

Very happy, great tool, highly recommend!
Exactly what I was hoping for AND expecting from Worx as I have a trimmer and wanted a cordless blower. Looking to expand my Worx tools because I like and trust the brand and the fact that the batteries are all interchangeable are a definite win! Blew around tons of leaves (19 yard waste bags to be exact). So I love it for the primary use I purchased it for but also used it to clear snow, some nice light dusty snow and some pretty wet and heavy. It didn’t clear the heavier stuff out altogether but it got a good amount gone so I could lay down a sprinkling of snow salt. Made my snow clearing a lot easier considering I have a long walk (about 90 feet) and a longer drive way (6 cars and good space at the ends).Used it on high power for the heavy snow and was happy with the amount of time I got out of the batteries. Only thing you will want/need to do is purchase extra battery or 2 depending if you have other Worx batteries and the job you are trying to finish. On a related Worx note:I am now looking seriously at buying a Worx cordless snowblower. I have a big Honda gas powered snowblower but if they work as well and less fuss with oil changing and the fact it needs gas to run and much quieter I am all about switching. That’s how much I am liking Worx.

Light and easy to use BUT electric shock when using on the snow!
I really wanted to like it. When I saw my neighbour use a Makita leaf blower to blow the dust snow off their porch, I wanted to get my own. I went with Worx because I already have a cordless snowblower and a cordless lawn mower from them and I like both. I used it maybe for one minute on my porch on a light snow when I suddenly felt a very unpleasant electric shock that went through the handle and right through my gloves! I gave it another try a few days later with the same result. Since I bought it for that primary purpose, it is now pretty much useless to me. I hope the manufacturer can take this feedback into account and update this product accordingly. Other than that, I like the design and how easy it is to use.

Shock
This is my second leaf blower from Worx. The first one I have is the corded leaf mulcher and absolutely happy with it and is still in use. There are some applications where cordless is a more feasible solution such as this unit and the grass trimmer, however I have always found that corded appliances provide more power. This unit suffices for what I intended to use it for such as blowing leaves and snow. Nice not to lug a cord or heavier unit for these purposes. My disappointments with this blower are:The extendable air flow nose piece does not firmly stay in position.Battery drains fairly quickly in the high setting (4 amp Battery). And a rather SHOCKING experience blowing snow (for some reason will get electrical shocks while blowing snow which I suspect is a result from moisture contact and of lack of a seal/shield between the battery and blower).Otherwise it does what I expected and very convenient use. I am providing the review for Worx as an opportunity for improvement.

Dead on arrival
Wouldn't work right out of the box. Super inconvenient return process for something of this value so I would suggest buying something like this locally as opposed to online. Between ordering and when I get my money back to buy it locally I'll have over a week difference. Between chat and phone calls I was tied up for 1.5 hours dealing with this. And I'm still just sitting here with a busted blower.

WORX 20v LEAFJET cordless Leaf Blower works well.
The LeafJet cordless blower is light in weight and has enough power to get the job done!!!! I think I should have bought the 40v instead of the 20v, Only because although the battery charges pretty fast but You only get about half an hour of continues use.
