Can they be used in a pond which has Golden Orfe in it.

There is no reason not to use VIRKON AQUATIC with Golden Orfe however like all other species it is important to follow the written instructions of our vet.

Can you use this in low temperature like in the winter

I only add to my pond in spring and summer when water temperature has risen at one tablet per thousand gallons.

How many tablets for a 900l pond and are they sturgeon safe?

Hi Richard sorry for the late reply. We use a ratio of 1 tablet per 1000 gallons. We have one sturgeon and it doesn’t seem to have any impact on him. We have been using this product in our koi pond for many years and have always been happy with it. We also use malachite and formulin. Blanket answer to keep the blanket weed at bay. how many tubs do you get?

You need to know the capacity of your pond. 1 tablet weekly serves 1,000 galls., and there are 50 in a (my) tub. Don't buy too many at once because they do have a 'use by' date.
