Insulation specific handsaw. Great tool for the job. How did I manage for 40yrs? Easily cuts through mineral(Rockwool) slabs , and larger pipe sections without generating dust. Harder to cut through phenolic type material/ PIR / Kingspan boards , but not impossible, and again creates very little dust compared to a regular handsaw. Needs to be kept sharp. I bought the dedicated Bahco sharpener which works a treat.

Very good for cutting geotextile in the roll to req,d width
Brilliant tool, used it to cut geotextile in the roll to the correct shorter width during land drain installing.

Not bad!
Great for cutting anything up to 70mm PIR insulation. 100mm is a bit of a struggle but doable. Dustless to cut which is lovely, more of a knife than a saw though so takes a bit more elbow grease to cut using these. Wouldn't buy again for cutting 100mm. Would definitely buy again for cutting anything <70mm

Magic Dust-Free insulation installation
It's a saw. It cuts. It's boring. What's exciting is that it produces almost no dust and cuts clean sharp lines for tight installation of insulation. Life saver.

Ok but not much better than a Stanley knife
Not any good for cutting PIR board, itโs ok on woollen/fibre insulation but does loose its edge fairly quickly, I found it easy to sharpen with the sharpening tool that you can buy with it.

Too flexible not ideal
Doesn't perform well in 100mm kingspan it is ok on smaller pieces and I imagine it would be great on 50mm insulation

Sharp ,lightweight saw
Very lightweight saw, easy to use, although quite flexible making it awkward to keep a straight cut through large rolls of insulation
