I've had this thermometer for awhile now and it has been excellent! I've never had an issue and it's very accurate. I really like the large display. I haven't had any issues with battery life, it reads the temp quickly and is easy to clean. I would definitely recommend this thermometer. I keep mine in the box it came in and just pull it out of the drawer, use it, clean it, and put it away. Super easy to use.

Works fast and easy to read. Definitely ,not waterproof unable to read numbers if it gets slightly wet. I removed battery and let it dry out before replacing battery. Now works again. Previous one I bought stopped working after getting slightly wet.
