We started using these fly fans for our outdoor dinners, especially now that it's springtime and the bugs are out in full force. They work well for keeping flies and other insects off the food.You can set it right on the table, but it also has a little hook at the bottom if you want to hang it upside down above your food. The spinning blades keep the air moving and distract the bugs so you can actually eat in peace.

I bought this product for fire ants because there were quite a few of them in the area of ​​the yard where my grandchildren play. I am so impressed by its effectiveness that I decided to share just how useful it turned out to be for us. We’ve only been using it for a few days, and the results are already visible. I was honestly surprised by how well these worked. We used them outside on our patio during meals and the flies stayed away which made a big difference. They’re quiet, not distracting and do exactly what they’re supposed to do.The only downside is the collapsibility. They are pretty difficult to collapse back down and don’t feel super smooth or intuitive when trying to store them. It’s not a deal breaker, but it’s definitely a bit annoying.Overall I’d still recommend them because the performance is solid. I just wish they were easier to put away.

These really do keep the flies away from the food. For every party before purchasing these, we used to stand there fanning flies away.. Now there’s no need to assign and rotate shifts between family members to fan the food. Everyone can sit and enjoy being together at the same time.

I like using these fans to keep the bugs away from the food. It's a little tricky to place these close enough to the food to shoo away the bugs but not hit the person's hand. The first set that arrived had a defective unit so I had to return it. The next set worked well. Note - once you attach the fan, it doesn't come off which makes storing them a little awkward.
