Great trivia cards for road trips or other times of boredom
I first encountered these cards with the Road Trip set (included in this three pack) and loved them. This set can be gifted as a whole or broken up into three gifts. You could even make a game with categories determined randomly. Anything to keep boredom at bay on road trips.I believe these cards are billed as road trip friendly in part because of their small and easy to manage size. Also, unlike some trivia cards, they are on broad categories and not niche or time specific questions. Cards aimed at boomers aren't going to do so well with younger generations. The Geography cards feature additional facts about the place in question while the American Trivia and Road Trip Trivia feature fun facts to go along with the questions. The text is of a readable size since there is only one question per card.

Neat collection of odd/unusual trivia...more interesting for adults/older kids than for young ones.
I thought I'd try these since they were offered through Amazon Vine (I was sent just 1 box of these out of the 3 though, through that program~where I receive the item for free in exchange for my honest review of it) so I can only comment on the 1 box we received which was the "Road Trip America" one, which I'm glad that was the one sent to me since I more wanted the American trivia from this game set! :)I wanted to try it since my son is learning about the United States & we can read these cards over & over since at his age, he won't remember any of the answers lol! But I think they're a bit "boring" for his age right now honestly (he's almost 9.) These seem more "interesting" for adults or older kids/teens/college-age, but they're neat tidbits of information that most people wouldn't know! They're quite odd & unusual trivia questions, so you'll be sure to learn a lot of new things with these! Which also makes it challenging & more interesting playing it as a game. I like that this particular game box in the set gives 3 choices of answers for each question, so you can play it like a trivia game with just 2 people playing against one another, or with a group of people as "teams" & play it like a "Trivial Pursuit" sort of game...adding up points for "right" answers if you wish Or it can just be played as an ice-breaker trivia/conversation item with guests during get togethers, picnics, BBQS, holidays, or while camping, etc...taking turns reading the cards aloud & everyone trying to guess the correct answers without "keeping score." Or it can be used to just read a card or 2 or 3 at mealtimes to liven things up a bit with some weird trivia! :)I like that the box is small, for if you wish to take it camping, traveling, or to a friend's/relative's house...so it's handy as a take-along trivia game. It could be a trivia car game to pass the time while traveling somewhere far as well. The questions are mostly odd/unusual enough, that I don't think it would be all that "easy" to "remember" ALL of the answers to every single question until you played it a few times. So I do think this game can be played repeatedly...due to the sheer "odd & unusual" facts that most of the questions are based on, making it more difficult to truly remember ALL of unique answers! :)It's a cute, small box that's nice for leaving out if your family wishes to read a few of the cards daily just for fun during dinnertime, which is what we're doing with it for now! Overall, it's a cool enough trivia item in my opinion & I like the American trivia aspect of it! I like to keep a few games like this on hand for when guests are over, so this is an interesting, simple, & handy game to have! :)

Fun for road trips!
I love trivia and this series is a lot of fun. We really enjoy playing in the car as we drive to relative's homes. These are also great reading practice, and for helping to read out loud with proper inflection.

Fun trivia games
These trivia games are fun! I am using them at the assisted living community I work at. It's fun, and the answers are multiple choice. My residents love them and it gets them talking. If this were for home, you could only use these once and you would know the answers, but in the assisted living community, there are always new people coming in so we can use them every few months. Younger children would have trouble answering a lot of these questions, so an older crowd is better.

OVERPRICED FUN BUT YOU CAN REALLY ONLY USE THE CARDS ONCE
This is my third set of Word Teaser cards. These are interesting cards. The game aspect is less interesting.Basically, one person reads a card. Whoever gets the answer right first, takes the card. That's it. No point total goal or anything. At least, that's how it was presented with my first set of cards. With this set, even that instruction is omitted. Basically, these cards are just conversation starters. The cards are an interesting read, but you can really only play this game once. After that, you'll know all the answers.I enjoy reading through the cards on my own or with my kid, but really you would get more bang for your buck out of a trivia book. Two of the decks have multiple choice answers. The American Trivia deck is open-ended.I'm mostly just enjoying reading through these cards on my own.

Just trivia
These are billed as a "conversation starter" but they don't quite work that way. We have the "funny sayings" box already, which has questions like "What would be the best way to 'butter someone up'? if you want a raise?" That incorporates the trivia (the phrase is explained on the other side) but also leads to discussion. We used those like "Table Topics" at dinner - one each night. These are more like expanded trivial pursuit facts. They're interesting and well-made, but not discussion starters.

So much to learn!
The trivia included is a wife array of easy to difficult questions. Some of them are multiple choice and others even give hints. My family had a fun time going back and forth with these and just testing our knowledge. Sometimes you might be surprised that you know the most obscure things.
