We got this on a whim to get rid of the musty smell in our basement and it worked so quickly!! It is sleek and not too big! We haven’t had any leakage yet and have been amazed with how much moisture it has removed from the air in such a short amount of time. I was a little worried about it being loud but I was wrong. It’s not loud at all, could definitely sleep with it in our room and not notice.

One of my better purchases on Amazon. I often end up with mediocre stuff, but this is legit. Not a cheap knockoff. It’s solid and heavy, in a good way, with a thick cord to handle the wattage. I live in California, so humidity isn’t a huge problem like other regions—but our house sits near a creek bed and we are near the coast. The upstairs is fine, but the downstair suites get damp and stay cool like a basement. Great for the summers, but not so much the rest of the year. Disposable hangers and boxes and smaller systems were too bothersome to keep up -and not doing enough so I bought this about 2 months ago. It is overkill for how I use it, but that’s what I wanted. It could cover the whole downstairs, but instead I shut it in one room or room/bath suite at a time. Within a few hours the room humidity drops from 72 to 52 and I drain a 3/4 to a full container each time. It is insane how much moisture is in the air. If using in a bathroom, I shut the toilet seat, sink drains, and cover the shower drain with a cloth. I open the closets and it draws the moisture from them. It’s meant for over a 1000 square feet so it works fast with these small spaces. I call it “the beast” because it just works so effectively. It’s quiet for me, especially when in another room. I can’t be in the room when it is on for very long because it sucks the moisture out of me. I can feel the change in the air when I breathe. I don’t know about the electric bill and don’t care, because it is fixing a problem. I don’t to keep buying and replacing disposables. I use it 3-4 hours every other day moving it from room to room. My suggestion is buy bigger than you need. That’s what I did. This way it works faster without struggling and you don’t need to run it 24/7. Hope this helps

I use this unit in my basement. It replaces my LG, also an excellent unit, which replaced my Whirlpool, no comment on that one. It's easy to set up and use and is a very quiet unit. I have to open the basement door and listen carefully to know that it's running. Does a good job so far. The window in the holding tank is very handy. At a glance I know when it needs to be emptied.I don't use the drain hose; I use the water for miscellaneous uses. Too early to comment on its reliability, though that appears to be excellent, also. I would recommend this unit to friends.

I bought it following the many glowing reviews of its outstanding dehumidifying qualities. I have a very wet basement and really hoped it could manage like my old GE dehumidifier did. Pros: it is compact, lightweight and easy to maneuver and to empty the tank. Noise level is pretty quiet with just a low hum. Very reliable and is just chugging away unsupervised doing its thing. Cons: the cord is not very long which makes setting up dependent on available outlets, but most of all it doesn't work as efficiently as the GE model. Given the level of humidity in my basement it should fill up practically every six hours but instead it takes over 24 hours to fill one tank. Which means it is entirely insufficient in its role as a dehumidifier where it actually counts. I changed the setting to DRY instead of dehumidify and that improved the functionality somewhat. Overall, its all right but nothing too well suited for basements if that's what you are looking for.

Our carpet in the basement got soaked due to very heavy rains seeping in. We did all we could and it wasn’t getting the job done completely. This dehumidifier arrived next day and when plugged in and set the controls ( which was super easy) it started dehumidifying very well. In fact within a short time the tank was full. There was no drain nearby so we used the full tank option. It’s not a huge tank so needs to be emptied every few hours while the humidity is really high but I’m sure as the humidity goes down emptying it out will be longer periods of time. It is quite the workhorse and I do recommend it. Great value & good price! Helped knock down the musty smell too.

I have an enclosed porch in a high humidity climate. We have purchased 3 dehumidifiers over the last few years. This unit has pulled the most water of the 3, and is the easiest to empty. You just pull out the water collection drawer, empty and put it back. I have it set on continuous use, so it does not need to be reset- and no buttons need to be pushed. On a different unit, the buttons stopped working over time. But this is the easiest to use. I would say the collection drawer is a medium/ large size. My other unit has a larger collection capacity, but this one is the most effective. My windows in this room had been stuck shut due to humidity but with this unit, the windows now open freely. So far I am very pleased.

This quiet and small machine is perfect for my basement. Setup and use is super easy to navigate. Customer service has been communicative and responsive. Initial first thoughts are 5 stars.

I have been using this dehumidifier for a week and I am very pleased with this product. It is slightly smaller and lighter weight than my previous one, so it's easier to pick up or move around and it runs very quietly, and it arrives at the desired humidity quickly. Lastly, it is easy to operate. The only small improvement I would suggest is to have slight indentations on either side of the water tank to allow a quick grasp in order to pull it out. I registered my product and it allowed me to increase my warranty to 3 years and I would definitely recommend this product! By the way, the Veagaso customer support folks are very responsive and they sent me answers quickly to my additional questions so that is very reassuring should I have any issue in the future.

Firstly, the delivery was promised to arrive on 25 April before I shifted out of the rental property on 30 Apr. It was delayed beyond 25 April. I contacted the seller and was told it will arrive by 29 April. By the night of 29 April still no delivery so I contacted the seller to change the delivery to the new address that I will be shifting to. The seller said he will inform the delivery company. However, the delivery company still deliver the item to the old address on 2 May. I have to rush to the old address and retrieve the item from the landlord. After brining the item back, I started using it according to the instruction manual. The dehumidifier is supposed to accumulate water into the water tank after certain hours of usage. However, after using two days, not a single drop of water was found in the water tank. So, I fear this equipment is not operating correctly.
