Mule - Copper Countertop Compost Bin - 1.3 Gallon - Includes 1 Year of Odor Control Filters

I absolutely love this countertop compost bin. There is no odor in our kitchen and we've had some pretty smelly things in there for weeks at a time without smells. I have a highly sensitive sense of smell so really, this is super.My only issue with this is that the plating is so thin that the copper flakes off without the least provocation. Just wiping the outside with a soft damp cloth brings pieces of copper off. If I had known that I would have bought the stainless steel one. Other than that though, I do genuinely love this compost bin for sitting on the counter and not smelling up our kitchen.

The finish is a bright shiny FAKE copper look. But that’s not the worst part. The worst part is the lid, which is a TOTAL pita to use. I wound up ditching the lid altogether, using the container for a planter (by sticking a smaller plastic planter w drainage holes into it) and buying a galvanized ice bucket with a plastic container inside it at Home Goods - which makes an excellent countertop compost bin!

This composter works really well in my kitchen. The smells are significantly reduced by the charcoal filter in the lid, and the copper finish is quite good looking on my counter.

This counter top compost pail looks good sitting on our kitchen counter. It holds a lot of kitchen scraps and is easy to empty and clean. However, the finish on the inside of the lid is flaking off from the condensation that builds up inside the bin. Not a big deal and probably nothing to be done about it anyway... Really appreciate the extra filters too!

It is impossible to open with one hand 🥵 and it has started to use inside. Bought a different stainless steel model and have been pleased with that one. The positive was the price and copper finish.

I really like mine. The holes at the top allow it to breathe, but the carbon filters remove any odors.

Works and looks as advertised

Just started composting and decided to add this for ease of collecting food scraps from my kitchen. Thought I'd have to empty it daily but I can actually go a few days between emptying it without it smelling.

I really enjoy this product but after just a few months of use the copper paint has started chipping off all over which is disappointing. Would still reccomend this product though.

I got it very quickly and it was exactly as described.

Copper coating scratches off far to easily.

Looks lovely on the counter top and is smell free! Handle makes it easy to empty, and it's the perfect size for us.

I’m returning this item because im thinking it won’t stay clean easily. I have an older silver oneThe copper may start to show wear faster that the silver one. Still it’s really pretty

Looks great and is very well made
