This pendant was supposed to be sterling silver, you can clearly see the 925 stamp, so it should be 92.5% silver. As you can see the silver has worn away just above the cats head to reveal some base metal which means this item is silver PLATED! There is also pitting of the surface as shown. I have cleaned with soap and water, an ultrasonic bath and even a silver cleaning cloth. All the cloth does is make the surface smooth but a dull yellow colour.

For cracker toy money this is a great item. I’d happily pay twice the asking price. Simply delivered with little or no packaging (suits me have too much clutter) has stood up to a couple of months regular wear no problems.

I bought it as a gift for a friend and she was fascinated with it.It's delicate and cute, a perfect gift for cat lovers girls. Material looks fine too, but that's something that one only could rate after a while using the necklace.It came in a nice small envelope, ready to gift.
