These were an absolute necessity in Tromsø. Couldn’t get about without them.The only downside with them, was you can’t walk on indoor flooring- so I took my boots off in every shop!

Better then I expected, happy to add them to my winter mountain kit
Bought to give me a lighter weight carry option for less serious winter mountain outings. Used for the first time a week or so ago on a Munro north of Loch Cluanie. They were fine, not difficult to fit to my boots, coped well with the ice and rock. Just showed a tendency for the snow and ice to ball-up underneath, perhaps more than traditional crampons would have, but that's not a big deal, just knock it off from time to time.

Great grip on ice..
Bought for a trip hiking in the austrian mountains ...excellent grip in the snow and ice on a mountain trek... relatively easy to put on boots and are securely attached and comfortable to walk when on snow .. as youd expect a not quite so much on tarmac but that's not what they are for... im clumsy and saved me from slipping on numerous occasions...

Well made micro spikes
These micro spikes work well as a back up in case of snow and ice patches during days out on the hill and I. The mountains. I used these recently in the Spanish Pyrenees where there was still some snow and it improved grip in slippery conditions.
