Special cable for the connection of external ECG pads compatible with CARDIO24 and InstantCheck Normally you do the ECG measurement by putting the two thumbs on the integrated electrodes of the Cardio24 or InstantCheck. But there are some reasons why it could be better or necessary to do the ECG measurement with an external cable and pads on the forearms: You do prolonged measurements with the InstantCheck which should be carried out very comfortably. The contact between the thumb and the contact electrodes can not be made properly because the thumbs are too dry, because the signals emitted by the user are too weak because the thumb because of tremors can not be kept steady
