The best acrylic paints for model kits
Excellent paint set for model kits and miniature figures. Vallejo are currently the largest paint range available and they are manufactured to the highest quality. The paints are acrylic and can be thinned with acrylic thinners or water. Brushes can be cleaned in warm soapy water. The paints are waterproof when dry and they provide an excellent base coat over which inks, thin acrylics, enamels or oils can be applied as a wash / shade / highlight. Matte of gloss varnish is needed to protect the finished artwork.This set includes the colours needed to recreate the Waffen SS camo-pattern.

I found the instructions very useful. The translations leave a little to be desired ...
I've always wanted to tackle the SS camouflage schemes but I have been very hesitant to do so, My area of interest is 28mm (namely Warlord Games' range of figures) and although this set is clearly aimed at larger figures (1/35 upwards), I found the instructions very useful. The translations leave a little to be desired but the clear full colour photos make up for this. The paints themselves are excellent, as you would expect from Vallejo. Highly recommended.

Worth an extra star!
Where have these been all my life! They arrived ahead of time, i started using the same day and finished a plane tree camo figure the next day. The step by step guide is especially helpful.

Excellent Acrylic Paint Set the colours are excellent and the 2 page instruction pamphlet is very helpful,only buy box set now much easier.Wish they would do more Acrylic Paint Sets.And yes would buy again....

Accurate colors that can be airbrushed right out of the bottle.
Like the accuracy of the colors and the ease of application using an airbrush . Very easy clean up and the paint feathers so easily, making camouflage a breeze. I have many 1/16 scale tanks and figures that I am using this great product on. Best paint ever!
