Excellent set of interweaving stories that keep you curious throughout. Lois Lowry puts together an amazing jigsaw of a broken world and isolated communities. Each story can be read separately or as part of the quartet, through the eyes of 4 key characters we learn the intricacies of their worlds and follow their stories as they learn who they are.All four are beautifully written and although they are aimed at children are just as enjoyable for adults as well.

Only read the first part of this quartet and enjoyed it immensely. Utopian with a twist that I did not predict. The prose is good character and plot also good. Recommended.

This is such a beautiful edition. It's has silver hardback cover, the side of the pages are red, and it has a red page keeper. Quality! Absolutely love this edition!!!
