I put my "waterproof" boots (that I paid more than I will admit for) out in the direct sun and let them warm until they were almost hot. Then, wearing Rubber gloves for dish washing, I applied two coats liberally coating them each time. The difference is significant and I must mention that a. the leather was deep conditioned with two applications, and b. the waterproofing was restored. Skidmore's Premium Beeswax has almost no smell, and is real wax - not some unpronounceable chemical that will give the end user cancer, and can be applied with confidence. Lastly, one six ounce container will doubtlessly last me 5 years - which makes this a steal of a deal! I plan to use this to condition the leather of my cowboy boots (guess where they have been and what they have been through). Thanks Skidmore!
