You may have to get a bit creative, but as I was figuring out which adapters to use they took some abuse and held up, no shattering and only slight bending on one of the offsets because I didn't realize it was at a bad angle. It would really help to have an extra set of hands to hold things in place while you get your wrenches set up and tension put on them. The only other thing I had to use is a 22mm deep impact socket for the top ball joint, but that may have been due to my inexperience with this set. I was able to find what I needed for everything else. Worked great!

Bought this along with the Astro Goliath press. Did the ball joints on my 07 Ram 2500. Had to get a little creative with the different but it had everything I needed.

Bought this set as it was recommended that it contained the adaptor for the lower ball joint removal for a Chevy Trailblazer. Heated up the area with a Map torch for 1-2 minutes, then used the adaptor contained in this set, and the ball joint came out smooth as butter. Did the same for second ball joint and all was good.

For me this kit works and must work with the previously purchased ball joint service tool kit which works only on a 4wd truck however with this kit also it will certainly work a wide range of vehicles including my 24 year old truck which after 2 hours of configuring finally had the right combination setup for my vehicle and allowed me to uninstall and also to easily install upper and lower ball joints. I would certainly say that these 2 kits would be fully capable to service a great many ball joints on many numerous types of vehicles cars & trucks. Thanks

Used to get a ball joint out of track bar of an f550 , needed an extra clearance clamp of up to 9” for it to fit. With struggles we ended up getting it. Recommend this kit

I used these adapters with a screw type ball joint press to replace the upper and lower ball joints on a 08 Tacoma. Once the old ones were removed with a torch it was easy to press the new ones into place on the vehicle with this kit, without damaging the control arms or the boots on the joints
