I'm using these for making deep-filled mince pies, but they will also be suitable to freeze small ready-meals for an elderly relative. They do not, of course, come with a lid, but foil will do as a cover. They are quite expensive but I chose them because the product illustration is clear and true, the product dimensions are shown in a well-drawn diagram and they are absolutely accurate. Bear in mind that the 80mm top diameter includes a 5mm lip all round, so the internal top diameter is 70mm, which is 2.75" near as dammit. You will find other products offered cheaper, where potential customers are asking for dimensions and getting inconsistent or garbled answers. It is worth paying a bit more to know exactly what you are buying, so for this convenience I give five stars.

Tenía moldes para flan, pero me resultaban un poco pequeños. Compré estos para mis natillas caseras, porque no son enormes, pero sí puedo poner una galleta encima (en la base no cabe). Con estos recipientes tengo la ración justa de natillas: la que te deja muy buen sabor de boca, pero sin remordimientos por haberte pasado. En resumen: tienen el tamaño perfecto.
