Fitment is good, needed to bend the hanger pins a little. Definitely a deep exhaust note and picked up 2 mpg on my 6 speed JK right out of the box. Could use a set of tips. Great product so far

Great fit on wife's Jeep.
After replacing the muffler on my wife's 2008 Wrangler with cheap auto parts store ones every damn year, I bought this unit.Easy install, and gives the Jeep a little more "throaty" sound, but nothing loud or aggressive. She is happy with it, and if it lasts more than a year I will be too. Lol

Ok for the price.. but needs work.
Muffler arrived with several noticeable dents in the stainless steel.. package was in good shape so not a shipping issue, looked like it was shipped out that way from vendor. Luckily the sellers warehouse was about 40 min drive from where I live, so they gladly exchanged it at the front desk which was helpful... but took 2 hours out of my day. Should have been a simple slip-on axle back muffler install... But the right hanger bar was welded incorrectly, and the pipe joint where it slips onto the factory pipe over the axle was only flared about 2” whereas the stock muffler is flared about 3”.. both of which caused the muffler to sit crooked/further back and contact the frame bracket on the right rear side. Tried bending it slightly, but just could not get it right by hand. Eventually had to shave an inch off the end of the factory pipe to get muffler to slide back further for clearance, and buy two new extended length Walker hangers (35296) to get it perfectly centered to where it should be. It comes with a 2.5” U-clamp, but I bought a SS band style clamp instead. About 5 hrs and $35. later everything was put together and lined up properly. Overall I am very pleased with the sound. This is not a loud muffler, it’s louder than stock (3.8 Jk 2dr) and provides a deeper rumble at start up and idle, minimal droning from what I can tell, not ricey at all... again, only slightly louder than stock, and allows you to hear the engine rpm’s all through the gears -which is what I wanted. Muffler is overall much smaller/lighter than stock, but essentially no difference in clearance because of the way it sits. Probably more of a street muffler than an off-road muffler. I Based my rating on all of the above, plus took the low price into consideration. Only time will tell if the part will last on these northeast salt covered roads.

Horrible
I've had this on about 4 months now. As others have said the hangers don't line up. It's already showing heavy rusting, and now it sounds like something rattling inside of when I'm idling. Don't waste your money on this one. Far better options out there.

So far so good fit finish looks sounds good and price is right
The media could not be loaded. I bought this colt muffler because of the price and the style was what I was looking for but I didn’t want to pay $200-400 dollars for a muffler. The shipping was fast and all around I’m mostly happy with it. The only thing I seen was one dent in the top of center a couple small dents. But nothing to make me send it back because those weren’t going to be seen. I wiped it down with acetone solvent to get any oil off and painted it with black high temperature engine paint. It turned out really well and looks great. I put it on with clamp that for over lapping pipe tighten it with the two bolts. Then started it to see what the sounds was going to be like and I was very pleased with it. I was hoping it didn’t sound like rice burner. But no it actually sounds good for a $100 muffler. It says stainless Steel on side of it so should get a few years out of it. But I wanted black so I bought a can of high heat engine paint and gave it a couple coats. Turned out looking great. If painting this I would wipe it down with acetone to get oil off it first. Check out video if want to hear it.
