These plates came very well packed to prevent breakage during shipping. They are very heavy. I like the almost 1" lip around the edge of the plate. This lip will prevent sauce or gravy from dripping over the edge. These are very plain with no design on the plates. I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet because, so far, I've only hand-washed them. Overall they are nice but I don't think I would ever use them when I have guests for dinner.

These stoneware plates are absolutely beautiful.They are sturdy, heavy, and extremely well made. The texture on the bottom gives the simplicity of the neutral glaze some "oomph" and helps with keeping the plate in place during a meal.They have a wide lip, which is great if you are serving a dish with a sauce, or gravy.As well as having a lip, the bottom is slightly "indented" which ensures the plates stack securely on top of each other in your cabinet. This really aids in saving space, and stops them from tumbling/ slipping over when stacked and put away.The color of the glaze is a beautiful neutral cream, with slight fleks of browns and creams. The glaze is consistent and smooth.They are a perfect size for dinner and really give an elegant touch to even the simplest of meals.They are dishwasher and microwave safe, which surprised me. They look so nice, I was sure they would be hand wash only. I really don't have any negative things to say about them.

I follow several chefs on socials and YT, and I’d been seeing these style plates for a while. I always thought they were so nice looking, and I’ve had several types of plates but none were ever completely flat like these ones are (other than the edge of course). I have loved using these. It feels like a level up. Yes they’re heavy, but I appreciate that. I really like the surface texture (I added an up-close photo to show what I mean), and the bottom has a hand-thrown pottery feel to it, both in texture and appearance. There is no branding to take a way from the look of these either. I’m on the fence about the price currently at almost $56, though. I both do and don’t feel that price is reasonable. I think if you like to spoil yourself and/or if you have dinner parties and want your plating to look lavish, these are for you. The neutral color is nice, too, because you could accent your table with anything and these will still look nice.

I love these chef style ceramic plates. They are very heavy though. To me they aren't white but more so beige. But overall, they are beautiful and I use them a lot.

I truly like these plates and how they’re made. The extra lip makes such a difference while my kids are eating out of these plates. It’s helped a lot with eliminating spills and food sliding off the sides of the plate. Besides that, they are a conversation piece amongst visitors. I served an Italian themed meal to my friends in these plates and they couldn’t stop talking about how they liked the heaviness of the plates, the color, functionality of the lip, clay material that it’s molded from and sleekness. I agreed with everything observation they made. These plates are awesome!

These plates are nicely weighted and feel well-made. They have a simple and balanced yet elegant aesthetic. The unglazed, exposed stoneware base creates a rustic feel which contrasts the white glaze coating the interior of the plates.For some reason the plates are a little deeper than I was expecting – the base is sunken relative to the raised rim. There rim extends upward perpendicularly to the flat base.However, I actually think this makes these plates quite unique in their design. It also makes them well-suited for more sloppy dinners such as pastas or casseroles as there’s no chance of anything running off the edge of the plate.Overall, I love these plates and am very pleased both with their quality and aesthetic. They’re also suitable for machine washing and have held up perfectly in my dishwasher so far.

These have a nice modern minimalist look. I love the look and the versatility, e.g. dishwasher safe, microwaveable, and sturdiness for everyday use. They are just a bit heavy, but not unmanageable. The issue that I have with these is that they are a bit pricy.
