Well priced boots extremely good quality and good fit.

Loved a previous pair in black so brown was a no brainer, comfy and no bedding in..

Really nice looking boot although I am only giving this 3 stars as the fitting towards the top of the boot around the top of the ankle is a little too loose for comfort and at times makes the boot feel as though its going to come off, which otherwise lets it down. The delivery service was useless as waited over 2 weeks to get delivered so not sure why as have never experienced delivery issues before. Once again courier wants a signature which if you work normal hours will be impossible so had to pick up from local post depot some 5 miles away.

The rubber soles on these boots unfortunately let them down. I've had two pairs and exactly the same things has happened both times. If you look at reviews for the darker colour you will see many similar reports: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Leather-Cowboy-Boots-Gringos/dp/B003MWC7M2/The soles are simply glued on to the bottom of the shoe, so the toes will start coming away pretty quickly, and the heels are hollow and the will wear, puncture and eventually fall apart. I wore them fairly regularly for 6 months, and by the end the heals were literally hanging off.Worth the £30 when I bought them but I wouldn't pay more, and wouldn't pay £30 if you're going to use them regularly. It's a pity - the quality of the uppers is far better than I expected, and after the usual leather wearing-in they are very comfortable and look great.

Value for money and comfortable.

Update Dec 2017Ok. I admit I was wrong. 2 1/2 years in and the boots are still going strong. I’ve had the soles replaced because I’ve worn them out, but the heels are fine. Love these boots and would buy again.Original post June 2015Nice boots, but the heels aren't solid so tend to split after a couple of weeks. I've had some full length boots previously which did have a solid heel - they lasted me years! But having had this set replaced once after two months of moderate wearing (because both heels had developed vertical splits), the replacements have now started to show the same faults after only two weeks! I'm not overweight (6'2" and 14st) so there is no reason for this happening other than poor design /manufacture.The detailing of the boots is great, the design is lovely, but they won't last long - you need to find a seller that does similar boots but make sure that the heel is solid, not rubberised.

On recommendation of other customers, I went down 1 size from my usual,ie from a 9 to an 8. Slightly (very slightly) tight across the top of my toes, but I am confident this will stretch with wear. If I went up to my normal size they would definitely be too big.Sat them sole to sole with my other cowboy boots and they are the same length ( my others are a size 9, though they are a different make).Well made boots, good leather and a cracking price. Delivery as promised, happy with the boots and the service.
