Got it after being recommended by a colleague. I used it to connect my laptop to the 2nd monitor through its HDMI port and also connected the USB C type power charger of the laptop. Works like a charm. Great product at a great price. I hope the life is good too. If it works for atleast an year, then I believe I have redeemed my price. Let's see.

My daughter recently decided to purchase a MacBook Neo in leu of the Mac Mini. Due to this, we definitely had to find a solution to add her peripherals when she wanted to add her Neo to the desktop setup and the Neo only has the two USB-C ports. This port added all the things she needs and works perfectly. First, this is a slim profile and feels substantially build, which builds confidence. Second, this adds all the necessary ports she needs. She is able to attach multiple USB-A ports (mice and keyboard attachments). She can attach the HDMI between the adapter and her screen for seamless compatibility. Everything she needs to do in order to work her desktop station between reading flash drives, attaching monitors, keyboards, and mice works perfectly. This adapter is a cost-effective solution that is high quality and solves what we need. others might needs SD and other ports; however, we do not. I am very happy with how well this works, how sturdy the build is, and how beneficial this is to creating an ultimate setup with peripherals connected the Neo. I highly recommend this!
