The Rooted Woman Oracle: A 53-Card Deck and Guidebook

Inspirational. Beautiful. Resonates with your inner Divine Feminine
A beautifully realized offshoot to Sharon Blackie’s book ‘If Women Rose Rooted’ are these oracle cards. With dreamy artwork by Hannah Willow, Blackie’s deck leads one deeply inward to the Otherworld, but also outward to find connection with the wildness of the outside. There are 53 cards divided by suits: Places, Allies and the Journey. These are way points to a meaningful encounter with one’s inner wild wisdom. I have a few oracle cards and I already know this is one I will turn to the most. The cards are sturdy and crafted well to last through a lifetime of exploratory use. I like that the cards are not glossy but matte and easy to gaze upon. I found the size of guidebook to be particularly handy as it is the same size as the cards to fit neatly into their box, which has the added convenience of a ribbon to lift out all box contents with. Clever. It is with a sigh of relief that this knowledge has been brought forward into the light once again to lead us back to ourselves, our connection to nature. This is a journey for every woman and these cards connects us to our inner knowing and points to our unique path

Rooted woman oracle
Really beautiful art and messages! I love it so much. The box and booklet are also great. Cardstock is not my favorite but will endure the test of time I am sure.

It's like sitting with the Crone or Wise Woman
The media could not be loaded. I was on the fence about buying the Rooted Women's Oracle deck, because the art didn't seem to resonate with me. But oh my goodness I'm so glad I took a chance on it for so many reasons! Once I held the cards in my hand and looked at the art, it is so warm and inviting, and made me want to just dive into the world she created and stay there. The card stock is excellent quality and a perfect thickness and feels quite sturdy and waterproof to me. This is a European based deck as the author is from England, so all the places and the feminine figures in the deck are all European. This deck is modeled on the heroine's journey, and after her best selling book on the same topic. There is so much wisdom, knowledge, and depth in this deck... Sitting with this deck truly does feel like sitting with the wise woman or the crone. It makes me want to soak up all the wisdom it has to offer. But like a wise woman, the messages aren't necessarily direct, it's kind of a read between the lines vibe. This wise woman assumes you will know what to do with the wisdom she is sharing. The deck is split up into four different categories: places, allies, journey, and focus cards. This feels like a really special Oracle deck, it feels like I came across an ancient relic of feminine wisdom, and I can't wait to dive even deeper into its journey.

Absolutely Beautiful and Important
This deck has beautiful imagery with a very soulful energy. This oracle deals beautifully with the shadow side. The cards speak very clearly and it has a direct and honest feel but with comfort. I have many oracle decks and unfortunately many of them are surface but this deck can give you the deep dive that you are needing. You can feel the honesty of the creators in this deck it is meant for true introspection and healing. I almost didn't get it due to funds but I didn't cancel in time and I am so happy that I did.

Very insightful readings
I have lots of decks like this so I didn’t expect it to stand out. I was wrong. It is a stand out deck and oracle.

Beautiful Art, Insightful Book but Poor Card Stock
While the artwork is beautiful, with a very nice and sturdy box, and insightful book, the card stock used for this deck is poor. It's heavy and cardboard like, therefore difficult to shuffle (especially for my small hands). Even worse, the cards chip and peel on the edges. Quite disappointing, considering I only had the deck for a short while, and only (gently) shuffled it twice. Needless to say I've returned the cards for a refund. Hope Hay House will eventually get it together with regards to card stock, which is really the most important thing for a deck. One other thing, while the book is well written, I don't really like the numbering system the author used. There are several different sections for the cards, each with its own separate numbering sequence. This means that the deck as a whole, is not in sequence number-wise. The author suggests drawing a card from each section for a reading. This doesn't work for me, as I prefer to shuffle the deck as a whole, and just draw one or more cards as they fall. The numbering system and section divisions also mean I have to constantly look through the book to see which section the drawn card falls under. As well, there are no illustrations in the book - it would have been helpful to include a picture of each card.

Exceptional Beauty, Insights, Prompts and more in The Rooted Woman Oracle Deck & Guidebook
For nearly 60 years, I've enjoyed evoking insights through the use of Oracles. I now have a small library of my favourites, like a circle of wise companions ready to open each moment of inquiry with me. This new "Rooted Woman Oracle - Deck & Guidebook" by author Sharon Blackie and artist Hannah Willow is a special one. From my first use, I've found it brings a remarkably rich energy to the practice of oracle consultation. Not kidding when I tell you its very 'presence' seems to offer palpable promise, like a good, attentive friend. No surprise to note how the clear, thoughtful text and captivating images work unexpected magic to generate resonant depths of response from deep places. I love it already, and will enjoy its role as a sound spiritual companion.

Touching deck
Looove this deck. It is not like beautiful beautiful, but it is real. You right away 'feel' the surroundings, the story it wants to tell you. Makes you feel at home. Even though some have a little shadowy side, but nothing harsh though. Just that little wake up call effect.Gets a little less credits it should get tmho. It will make you look at yourself and gives you tools to grow as a person. Not an everyday oracle, but definitely a lovingfull teacher and therefore a keeper

Good card quality
I like the artwork and hidden details in the cards which can give more clues to the message you're recieving. What shocked me (in a good way) was the weight of the deck, trust me it's hefty in the nicest way.The reason for why it only gets 4/5 stars is because of the guidebook. It can be confusing and sometimes get off topic in my opinion. It doesn't give you an easily found answer that a specific card symbolises this or that or give you some key words for it's meaning. I personally find some of the texts a bit tedious while being midst of a session but it's still only my personal reference so someone else might find it interesting and good. :)
