Assembly wasn't difficult, but the top drawer does not fit properly. We won't be able to use the top drawer because it is so difficult to open and close. The chemical smell is even worse! We have had this for over a month and had to put it in a spare bedroom because the odor is so strong, we can't stand to have it in our room. I would disassemble and send back if it wasn't such a hassle.

This really is a lovely nightstand/table. I've put mine in the dining room as I need more storage and it looks lush. It's sturdy and heavy. Having said that, they do thoughtfully include a warning about young children pulling furniture over and I'd agree if you have children around it would be a good idea to fix it to the wall.The quality of materials I would say equals that of the big name flat pack furniture company most of us have heard of.This brings me to the flat pack and assembly. All parts were clearly labeled and the instruction manual was also easy to read and understand. A good deal of logical thought had gone into explaining each step. The only thing I'd add is to make sure you have a drill with a flexible extension because the drawer front brackets are truly fiddly little things! The drill extension made light work of that issue tho.

We purchased this item months ago and tried so many different tactics to get the smell to go away. It's awful. Pretty furniture but not really worth it.

The top came with a chip on the front top edge which shows white, perhaps I could get a discount credit so I can get it fixed.

This night stand is made of heavy, strong wood. It took me about 45 minutes to build it with hand tools. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. It is a very nice-looking piece of furniture.

Product picture looks more white or at least light grey. Actual product was dark grey and came apart during delivery. Would not have ordered this if I knew the color was so dark.

The media could not be loaded. I tried to give this its fair shake, but this nightstand is not good.There're some small things, like how the alignment is poor. The back panel's holes don't line up with the half-assembled unit. After assembly, the drawer doesn't line up with the central unit. However, those are minor faults and not why this nightstand is bad.What's bad is that this nightstand has an odor that made me physically throw up in my mouth. When I went to pick this up from my complex's mailroom, the mailroom had the scent, and I thought it rubbed off on my package. When I brought it back to my apartment, I started to smell it. I tried wiping down every piece with a wet wipe, and the smell didn't go away. I set the nightstand on my balcony to air out for five days, and it still has the smell. It also left the scent in my apartment for a full 24 hours, even though I ran an air purifier at full blast next to where I did the assembly.Essentially, this has a noxious odor that won't leave the nightstand no matter what, and I've tried everything. When it was at 'full power,' or whenever I unboxed it, it made me vomit. I'm not sure if it's a one-off problem, but it's a problem I faced.

This nightstand was made in Cambodia. The dimensions are as shown in the listing, so make sure to measure your space because this nightstand is larger than standard sized nightstands. The two drawers are deep and spacious, and they work well if you need additional folded clothes storage.The color is darker than it appeared on my screen. I was expecting a light airy shade of gray and in person this shade looks much darker than I thought it would be.All pieces, including the bags with hardware were clearly and correctly labeled. The pre-drilled holes were in correct spaces. This nightstand has four legs that have to be screwed in into the corresponding threaded holes. Unfortunately one of those holes in my nightstand was missing the thread piece so there was no way to attach the leg. I ended up using a strong glue for wood that I had at home to glue that one leg to the nightstand. There were also several spots with paint issues, where the paint had created bubbles. One of those bubbles was on the corner of the top and within one day it chipped exposing the wood. There is also a spot on one of the sides with rather large indentation in the wood that has been painted over. Then there is the odor. This nightstand has a very strong chemical odor. I had to remove it from my teen’s room for several days because the odor was too difficult to deal with. After several days by an open window there’s still hint of that odor left.I really liked the idea of this spacious nightstand and I do like that it is made of thick and sturdy wood but the multiple issues I encountered don’t allow me to recommend it.

I purchased two of these. They are well-designed and built. The instructions were excellent and very easy to follow.
