I have tried so many quick detailers and spray waxes...in the last few years: Meguir's Gold, Mother's, Car Guys Hybrid, West Coast Custom Detailer Spray, and Turtle Wax Ice are the ones I remember. I like Sonax the best, even though it's hard to find. Yes, people will argue all day over the pros and cons of these different products. I don't have data to back up which one is best; I can go only by my experiences with them. The factors most important to me are: How easy does the product go on and then wipe in (I don't like having to repeatedly rub to make residual streaks or residue go away); how deep is the shine; how smooth/slick a feel does it leave; and how long does the car retain its shine and water-beading. When I consider all of these factors, I have found the Sonax to be the best. While described as a quick detailer, it seems to have properties of a sealant and the water-beading properties are retained longer than the other products, from what I have experienced. My car also seems to retain its waxed look and feel longer. Again, I can't quantify these findings (though I'm sure some folks have tried to test these products). One other thing I like is that the product is a little thicker when sprayed on; this makes for a little more control (less over-spray) when applying it. Some may not like this, though, as you may go through the bottle faster than with a thinner solution. Overall, after what feels like years of trying these different products, I go with Sonax; I think it's the best overall. It's at the more expensive end but I just love the results I get with this product. UPDATE: I'm still using this and still think it's the best overall spray detail. However, I discovered Sonax Netshield which is a synthetic "fiber" sealant that comes in an aerosol spray. I will eventually get around to reviewing it separately but needless to say, it's a very easy to apply sealant that doesn't give a super glossy shine or slickness but DOES really bond to clean paint and will give you about 6 months of protection and lasting hydrophobic properties. When is use the Netshield and then wait a few hours or until the next day and apply the Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer, I get fantastic results...a very deep gloss, very slick surface, and incredible beading. I've found my go-to combination!

Yes, technology keeps advancing, and chemistry is evolving with it—there are even spray ceramic coatings now. But if we’re talking about overall ease of use, price, and results, I’d say nothing has beaten Sonax Brilliant Shine for years. It’s super easy to apply and wipe off, works on glass, plastic, and of course paint. It lasts through 2, even 3 washes, and while its water beading may not be the absolute best, it’s definitely satisfying. The price is unbeatable, and it smells great too. I’ve been using it for years, tried other spray waxes, but always came back to this one.

Best beading best spray for protection. The liquid is thick but buffs off easy....its the best detail spray since itll last for months on ur car and has the best debeading performance of them all. Applied it to my windshield and my wipers don't judder but if i use my wipers 3 times itll leave a mark then I have to use windshield wipers fluid and it wipes off the mark streak whatever. Works for me even on the windshield and itll be the only detail spray I use and I might try p s beadmaker if this doesn't work good in summer...for some cars it might not work well on windshield but its worth trying especially if u got newer wipers....if ur wipers judder spray on some p s beadmaker slicker spray to fix that

I use turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray coating every four months and this sonax once a month to maintain it. sonax bsd has to be the best coating ( detailer-sealant) I've ever tried. It has dust repellency built into it. my black car now keeps dust and light dirt off for a week instead of 2 days with any other product. The shine it provides is outstanding. Don't listen to the negative reviews saying that its not smooth and slick, I don't touch and caress my car on a daily Baises so I could care less about how slick my paint feels (the least you touch your car the less chances there is to scratch it) plus a slick feeling means there might be high levels of silicones in it witch attract dirt and dust and holds on to it because it makes it sticky!. .water repellency it on par with high end ceramic coatings.

The best detailer out there. I've tried so many different brands and this is simply the best. Smells great, has a great water repellency, and when you dillute it you get so much more volume. This had me throwing away my mostly full bottles of everything else.

Well my unbeaten protection at this point is still Sonax Netshield polymer and i have put this on top of it on one half of my hood, and for 3 weeks now (1 year for the Netshield) side by side i can see no hydrophobic difference, the only thing I noticed was this is a little slicker than the Netshield, I recently tried some graphene and it attracts to much dust and dirt, I'm sticking with Netshield....super product. Note; one thing that really pops with the TW graphene was it really made plastic look awsome.

I did a bunch of research on find a good protective coating for my truck and ending up with this product. I can honestly say this product is unbelievable for only $17. The water beading reminds of the ceramic coating I did on my previous truck that cost me over $1000. Ceramic coating is great but not bullet proof and can still get scratched but the cleaning and maintenance on a vehicle was much easier, however this product is doing the very same allowing me to clean my truck much quicker and road debris, dirt, bugs, etc come off equally as easy as my previously ceramic coated truck. No need to spend $1000+ to have your truck professionally coated when you can spray this stuff on a wipe it off and get the same water bead and cleaning properties like a ceramic coat. You won’t be disappointed in how easy it is to use and apply.

Love BSD. Last ages and can also be used as a drying aid to boost protection. My go to sealant for the winter months here in the UK.

Waterless cleaning without causing scratches to paintwork. Which I've used on two brand new cars. No scratches inspected under LED light, providing it's not really heavily soiled and you use - a large, fresh, soft microfibre folded into 8 - use plenty of spray so you always wipe with a damp surface and only in lines, NOT a circular motion - after the dirt is wiped off and embedded in the microfibre - never use the same face of the cloth to wipe again, always a clean side for a new section - turn microfibre cloth to a clean face and spray liquid on bodywork and wipe again. Can be used on metal, plastic and windows BUT not the windscreen as this will cause your wipers to smear when it's raining. All treated surfaces will have a water repellent effect where the water forms into large, pronounced beads. To get a smear free effect is more difficult and requires more effort but I haven't tried another brand as I know this one doesn't scratch.
