Gibraltar cymbal stand accessories 2 pieces. Wing screw 6mm solid SC-13P3

Got this to replace the plastic ones that come with my edrums because I keep smacking and splitting the originals. Fits my Alesis rack cymbals so I'm guessing the thread is universal. This feels FAR sturdier and better engineered. Eventually I'll replace them all I'm sure.

These things are solid! And I pop them onto my TAMA Pro stands rather than those fancy clips that just fly off when you smash a crash. Stock up too on the Gibraltar cymbal sleeves and felts. Why pay more? Worth every penny, but buy extra of everything, as you will lose them!

I bought these to replace plastic T nuts on a 6mm threaded boom and straight cymbal stand. The wing nuts have altered the look of the stand and make it match the other stands I own, adding a more show feel to the hardware. The modern stand is an 8mm thread so many of the wing nut accessories/replacements won't fit. It is good Gibraltar manufacture this type. This was an easy renovation, in addition to adding new cymbal sleeves and felts. Easy to use, well made, and professional looking. Recommended.

it's a plastic nut. It does what you'd expect. Not much more to add. Works well enough and seems to be compatible with most cheap cymbal stands.

You would want this chromed steel wing nut on your Conger drum stand when purchased new, as the muck metal black japanned alloy nut has stripped its thread finally after failing to provide enough compression on the split stem grip for sometime.

I am still rocking some 80s era Tama cymbal boom stands and a few years ago one of the nut/sleeves stripped out. Actually now that I think about it this might have been over a decade ago. Anyway I was planning on replacing it for a while but never got around to it until now! These do the job! If each of the sleeves in this four pack all last as long as the originals I'll set an automatic reorder for 2100!

I needed this for something other than drums. The thread is most certainly not 6mm, more like half that. It simply has a 6mm bevel before the thread. Misleading and a pain in the butt.
