Pronus J-166 portable radio is a fine little radio with excellent tuning, easy set up, and a handy clip on the back to attach the radio to your clothes. The sound quality is excellent, with an antenna which allows for reception of long distance stations. I was a bit hesitant to purchase this item at such a low price. However, the Pronus J-166 is proving to be a wise choice. 🌷

This radio far exceeded my expectations. It is small and light. The reception is excellent and the sound quality is much better than I expected. I have noticed that the battery life is excellent too. I would definitely recommend this radio.

Just had a storm and this radio came in very handy when the power went out. Small, reliable, easy to carry, and great reception of local frequencies.

Terrific price. You must extend the antenna to get reception. May not if you live in a large city. It was easier to get FM stations, not so easy with AM stations. Knowing this, I live in a rural setting. The volume is good and the clarity is good ! I got it for emergency purposes! But will use it often to listen to my favorite FM station.

Excellent radio. Stations are clear . You can hang it on you belt. I love how i can carry it through rooms in my house. If I'm outside I put this little radio in my window. I love this radio. Thanks

Great little radio. Picks up more stations than our old stereo. Bought it for the drive-in, camping and emergencies. Just bought a second one for my husband. Light weight with a belt clip and lanyard. Two AA batteries easy to install. Works even without the antenna extended.

Going old school with this beauty lol. Putting together a prepper box and needed one of these radios just for that. Quality is good. Stations are clear, impressive and simple...price was point on for quality of product.

Tired of utilizing my data on streaming services. this transiter radio brings in AM/FM frequencies great and works better than expected. I already dropped the unit a couple of times and works like a charm.

A minha deceção foi completa ao experimentar o rádio Prunus J-166. Na bamda Am, no local onde resido (Cascais - Portugal) capta apenas uma estação e deficientemente. Em FM é apenas um pouco menos mau. Havia rádios a um terço do preço, com boas referências, mas como ele se destina a um Kit de sobrevivência, quis comprar algo que eu pensava que seria de alta qualidade, e foi com esse intuito queme dispûs um preço muito mais alto. Afinal sucedeu exatamente o inverso.

Bought this Prunus J-166 Portable AM FM battery operated radio to have on hand in the event of a black out/hydro outage event as we experienced in 2025. Very satisfied with the quality of this little radio. Good sold feel and excellent radio reception. The sound is steady and does not waiver. Useds 2 double AA batteries. Hightly recommend.

Good little transister radio. I keep it within reach in te event of power failures. Very handy to have! Sound is clear and it's good on batteries. The radio cannot be used while taking public transportation however. The reception goes SOUTH.

Tenía mis dudas de esta marca. Después de tres semanas, falló, lo devolví, con el costo por mi cuenta. Por lo que no lo recomiendo.
