comfortable sleep
My regular pillows made my neck hurt, even after experimenting with harder ones and softer ones. I normally sleep on my side, as does my wife. We bought two of these pillows and both agree that our necks feel better each morning. It will take a little while to get fully used to them but we are satisfied that we made a good choice.

Six-inch thick pillow perfect for my big fat head
This pillow is everything it promises to be. When they say it's six inches thick, they ain't lying. This thing is tall. I'm six-foot, 215 pounds with fairly broad shoulders and a big head. And even still, I might've gone one inch too high. However, it feels great with my surgically repaired neck (no more cricks waking up) and will give a bit over time. After a month, I've gotten used to the height. It's almost comically firm. It's not even trying to change its cube-like shape, even after a month under my heavy noggin. It comes squished all to heck in a small container, but fear not. Give it several hours and you'll have your rectangle. The washable case looks and feels great, and didn't shrink after a wash/dry cycle. A queen pillowcase is perfect, but you may want to put a couple of safety pins on it, because it will slide off somewhat. If you're accustomed to receiving bedding with the first-class packaging and presentation of Coop products, for example, look elsewhere. Here, you get a container with a pillow in it. But I'm all for that. It's a great value, and I vote for keeping down costs and waste.Excellent pillow, excellent price.

Interesting but not for me
In short: fluffed up fine, no odor, firm, product dimensions correct.I had cervical spine fusion surgery in July 2023 and have been having a hard time finding a pillow that works for me without causing a migraine, that's level with my head and neck alignment and also supportive but not too firm. I can only sleep on my right side and back with little support. I've been trying multiple pillows to achieve this, including this square pillow. I purchased the 5" after we measured my shoulder to head and the gap, and used a 4" and the 5" object for comparison here at home prior to ordering. It's ONLY for side sleeping. It's a queen sized so too long for just switching from one side to another, (it should be a short length cube type thing, no need for a whole pillow length), and the material is slippery so the pillow case does not stay in place all night. It is very firm, to the point your ear falls asleep (didn't know that was such a thing). No odor, fluffed right up out of the package within an hour, I put a waterproof protective cover on it, slept on it the first night. I did fine for about a week but found myself pushing it out of the way if I needed to roll onto my back (which forced me awake enough to get up and relocate the pillow). Overall I believe this could work for some people, but unfortunately not for me. The return and refund process has been easy.

Doesn't last
Update: Seller reached out and sent a replacement pillow. Not sure if I got a defective first pillow, or if this is the typical lifespan of this one. For good customer service, I'll up my rating from 1 star to 3 stars until I get a few months into the replacement.Just about 4 months in, and here's my hot take. At first the pillow was pleasantly firm - the height (I got the 6" model) was a touch too high, but I stuck with it and quickly fell in love. Like others have noted, my one complaint at the time was that the pillow would slide out of my pillowcase overnight, but to have the support at the right height - I was willing to deal with the slippery pillow. But between months 3-4, the pillow has gone downhill quickly. I don't think the height has changed, but the firmness is gone - my head sinks down far too low.For reference, I'm 6', 172lbs and my head is average sized, but I have broad shoulders - hence the need for a higher pillow. This pillow simply doesn't last. Now I have another dud to add to my never ending pillow pile, and the search goes on for something else.At its price point, it should either last a lot longer, or have a better warranty (30 days? Come on!)

So comfortable
It is perfect for my head and neck. I toss and turn though out the night and it stays right where I have it. I've been looking for a memory foam pillow that works for me and this is the first one that does exactly what it should. It reforms back and doesn't break down like all other regular pillows do. The first night was a little hard to get use to but since then I enjoy the feel of it. It's great and I will keep it for years to come.

4" pillow is not at all like the 5" pillow, unfortunately
I am very disappointed with the quality and material used for the 4" pillow I received.I had a 5" cube pillow from this company, and really liked it. The pillowcase was cooling and buttery-soft, and the density and spring of the foam was "just right" to me. The 5" height was great on my Sleep Number mattress bed, but a little too thick for another mattress I have that is much softer... so, I decided to order a 4" pillow from this company for the softer bed. I expected the 4" pillow to be of the same quality, material, and foam as the 5" pillow, but boy was I wrong in that assumption! This 4" pillow "looked" like it had the same type of cover, but when I actually opened it, I found that the fabric on the 4" pillow is at least twice as thick as what on my 5" pillow and it is oddly coarse. The foam is different as well. Ugh! The 4" pillow has a very different feel, and is not at all comfortable!!! I wonder if this is a fluke...or if the 4" pillows are possibly made by a different manufacturer.Unfortunately, my erroneous assumption that the 4" pillow would be of the same material and foam as the 5" (but simply 1" thinner) led me to not open the 4" pillow right away, and I missed the return window. I am quite disappointed with the 4" pillow I received.

Best I’ve tried
A slightly firmer would be ideal, but I’ve tried several other products. This is best so far. Good quality, pretty good value for the price.
