So far so good
Only had it a few days but seems to work well a little on the loud side when running, looking forward to trying some really dirty stuff in it. It Was delivered buy Hermes so box was badly damaged and upside down despite having arrows showing this way up only.

Works well on jewellery
Everything works well, you have to heat up your cleaning fluid on the hob and if you use the basket you cannot seat the lid? My specs cannot be cleaned if you use the basket.

good small ultrasound unit for carbs & small engine parts.180W is probably the lowest rating to get a professional finish & a reasonable cavitation effect on parts that require cleaning.

Feels cheaply made and didn't work very well for me
I've never used an ultrasonic cleaner before but after reading the instructions and watching a coupe of videos I'm sure that I did everything correctly, but it had very little effect on the items I tried to clean.I used de-ionized water and some washing liquid to try and clean some old 1p and 2p coins and a gold ring. I ran it a couple of times first to get the water up to temperature but perhaps it wasn't enough. I don't have a thermometer to test it. There was almost no change to the 2 pence coins. The 1 pence coin cleaned up a bit but there was no change at all to the ring.I think that I may need to buy some special cleaning solution and a thermometer and try again. If I get better results I will edit my review accordingly.With regards to the unit itself, it feels poorly made. It doesn't look like all the panels fit together well and rattles when in use. The basket design is stupid in that when the machine is in use, if you have the basket inside, the lid doesn't fit correctly and vibrates itself all over the top.Overall, I wouldn't really recommend this ultrasonic cleaner. If I can get it to produce better results I might change my mind, but I will always dislike the cheap feel and poor build quality.

Used to clean motorcycle carbs, I’ve cleaned them 3 times with carb cleaner and couldn’t get it to run right, two 30 minute cycles in this and it’s running beautifully, can’t believe the muck it got out!
