Type Zero L-Glutamine Powder (500G) 3-Month Supply Pure L-Glutamine Supplement - Vegan, Gluten Free, No Fillers

I am taking this in hopes of improving gut health so it is too soon to tell if it will help with that. This review pertains to taste and texture. It comes with a small scoop and It is a very fine powder that dissolves very easily in water. If I mix it with 12+ ounces it only has a slight taste and I can tolerate it when taking my supplements. I also try using it in my coffee but it really ruins the taste and it has a bad aftertaste as well. This is a problem bc most sources say that you need more than 20grams of L-glutamine for gut health. So far I’ve only taken about 15grams daily bc it is not very pleasant. Hopefully I’ll be able to continue it bc I am really sick of gut issues ruling my life.UPDATE 5 stars!Well it has been over 3 weeks since I started taking this L-glutamine and my gut health is really improving, I’m actually becoming regular and normal! After dealing with constipation and diarrhea for most of my adult life (getting worse with age to the point of it affecting my lifestyle and preventing me from participating in activities I enjoy). Well now I have hope that I will be able to engage in activities without worrying about where the nearest bathroom is. Things are not perfect but it’s much improved. I have also ordered butyrate in hopes that will help as well. This product is definitely worth it for anyone with gut issues, it is not something that will cause extremes one way or the other but it has helped me to center my digestion into a normal pattern and that is a fantastic result so far.Update #2:It has been just over 2 months since I’ve been taking L-glutamine and my digestive health is so much better, no episodes of diarrhea and virtually no constipation, I am so grateful for this supplement. I am taking 5gm in about 12oz of water with a scoop of Bloom first thing in the morning. I take another scoop over the coarse of the rest of the day. Also I have not altered my diet in any way that would account for this improvement. If you are suffering from digestive problems please try L-glutamine!

I ordered TypeZero brand unflavored L-Glutamine powder. It arrived within a few days. upon opening the plastic container there was no foul smell. The powder has a faint chalky, sweet taste. It quickly dissolved in tap water and I have had no adverse gut symptoms since ingesting this brand. At 200 servings of 5,000 MGs, the price is very reasonable. I usually buy NatureBell brand, but it is unavailable at this time. I am pleased with this brand.

I bought this as a gift for a person who has residual brain damage from an accident. A Dr said it helps build the integrity of the blood brain barrier.The person has told me that they believe that it has been helping.

This stuff is amazing! I thought I was going to need to add xylitol to be able to take with water but it's virtually tasteless. I add to 4oz of cold water(never take with hot or warm liquid) and follow with 4 more oz to rinse out the glass and wash it down. I read online it is used with severe burn victims in medical settings to help restore the gut and is taken with probiotics. It is often taken in higher doses of up to 40 grams daily but when I took more than 5 grams or took it at night on an empty stomach, it caused heartburn. I used it for less than a month(always with a probiotic and always an hour before eating) before I started to notice a real difference in my GI tract. The pain, belches, smelly farts and urgent poops are all gone!! I have also noticed that my after activity muscle pain(I have fibromyalgia) is so diminished, I feel almost normal. I cannot speak to whether or not my immune system is better but I do know my brain is not as foggy!! This product has given me back my life. I will use this brand of L glutamine forever.

So when I first got this stuff I was in the hospital for my ulcer because it had gotten so bad the symptoms and I was desperate for any kind of help that wasn’t a pill the doctors wanted to give me so I found this stuff and I no longer get sharp pains in the morning when I eat or drink! I don’t have pain I’ve been using it for a few months now and it’s amazing to be able to eat and drink with out being doubled over in ulcer pain! This stuff fixed my stomach!!!! Update : I’m on my 3 purchase of this product and it still amazes me of the healing powers this product has. It is as important as water and coffee in my diet. I don’t go a day without it. And I continue to have minimal to no stomach pain from my ulcer

I have been using this product for about three months and have noticed amazing results. My stomach is flatter and my digestive system is much better. I mix it in with my pre-workout in the morning before the gym. The flavor is subtle I only taste my pre-workout, if I take it was just plain water it has a slight flavor, but it is not as unbearable as all the other supplements I’ve tried

I’ve been incorporating glutamine into my morning routine with a cup of water and my greens and I can’t imagine starting my morning without it. I’ve noticed such a difference in my bloating throughout the day, and I can definitely tell when I don’t take it in the mornings. Great product.
